BERTRAND DAILY REPORT 05/06/2017 INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING

Bertrand Daily Report
The War For Our Mind & Soul Continues

Subject: Your Morning Intelligence Brief (May 16th, 2017)

Ed Note: It's a known fact, Generals feel like their careers were wasted if they never command / participate in a major war (an ego thing) like a commercial pilot that never got a chance to fly large jets, stuck with a commuter airline his/her whole career. If given a nudge, the general (or pilot) will do anything and everything to fulfill his/her career potential.

The push behind the war machine are the mega banks,( which finance both sides of a war)....oil conglomerates, (often hijacking a country's resources with false flag wars), and world leaders seeking political control of nearby countries (threat or not). Together, the pressure from all sides to persuade a president to enter a war based-on false intelligence is often the case. The CIA, the main culprit that brings the entire puzzle together, with intel sub-created by the oligarchies, creates the news narrative(s).

However, the most important part of their puzzle is YOU !

The public has to be convinced a war is needed and by "wagging the dog" propaganda by presenting fake atrocities and bogus intelligence to the public, an uneducated population that works all day, comes home and watches CNN et al, know nothing else and give their elected representatives the "green light" for war.

Grant it....absolute (nuclear) threats to America, or (our) allies, is a reason for war, but when a country (USA) decides constantly to move the so-called enemy players from one side to another, changing their names and suggesting a terrorist organization is no longer terrorists anymore, therefore....allowing the CIA to ship weapons to their new found friends in the Middle East, one has to ask themselves....what will Trump do? ---Dave Bertrand  (Twitter) #Dave Bertrand (@bertranddave1)

President Trump: Toss Your Generals’ War Escalation Plans in the Trash

By the end of this month, Defense Secretary James Mattis and National Security Advisor HR McMaster will deliver to President Trump their plans for military escalations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. President Trump would be wise to rip the plans up and send his national security team back to the drawing board – or replace them. There is no way another “surge” in Afghanistan and Iraq (plus a new one in Syria) puts America first. There is no way doing the same thing over again will succeed any better than it did the last time.

Near the tenth anniversary of the US war on Afghanistan – seven years ago – I went to the Floor of Congress to point out that the war makes no sense. The original authorization had little to do with eliminating the Taliban. It was a resolution to retaliate against those who attacked the United States on September 11, 2001. From what we know now, the government of Saudi Arabia had far more to do with the financing and planning of 9/11 than did the Taliban. But we’re still pumping money into that lost cause. We are still killing Afghanis and in so doing creating the next generation of terrorists.

State Department: Renamed Al-Qaeda Not A Terrorist Organization - Can Receive CIA Supplies (D.B.: al Qaida means "The Data Base" ....created by the CIA during the Afghan / Soviet war to list militia members, and Osama bin :Laden was a CIA operative in that war.)

Push for Convention of the States to rein in government gains steamFox News - When Democrats launched into a spontaneous chorus of "Na na na na, hey hey, goodbye" on the House floor after the passage of the American Health Care Act last month, it may have marked a modern-day low mark in open hostility on the House floor. It and numerous other cultural barometers – from cable news contributors losing their cool, to contentious town halls, to street fights – are signaling tectonic rumblings in America's political health.

State Department: Renamed Al-Qaeda Not A Terrorist Organization - Can Receive CIA Supplies
Blacklisted News - Max Abrams, a professor who works about terrorism, came up with this new definition of "terrorism": Nonstate actors who use violence against civilians for a political goal and haven't been supported by the US…. Prof. Adams remark came after a report by the Canadian CBC which found that the U.S. has not designated al-Qaeda's recently renamed organization in Syria as a "foreign terrorist entity". The U.S. just offered a $10,000,000 reward… for Abu Muhammad al-Joulani the founder al Al-Qaeda in Syria (aka Jabhat al-Nusra aka Jabhat Fatah al-Sham). But newly again renamed organization which he leads as the official military commander, the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), is not on any U.S. (and Canadian) terrorist entity list… The non-designation will make it more difficult to prosecute members and supporters of the organization. Donations and other support to HTS are now legal…. As long as HTS is not designated as terrorist group the CIA, and anyone else, can supply it with weapons and money without using any "Free Syrian Army" cut-outs in-between…. As long as HTS is not officially designated it will likely continue to have access to CIA delivered TOW anti-tank missiles and other heavy supplies like artillery munition. It will continue to prepare for new attacks on Syrian government forces and Syrian civilians.

Report: Justice Scalia Believed Supreme Court was Being Surveilled by Obama (Video)
The GatewayPundit - Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News senior judicial analyst, went on FOX Business Network on Monday to discuss allegations Senator Rand Paul and another senator were under surveillance by the Obama administration. Napolitano also dropped a bomb on the Obama administration spying on the US Supreme Court. Judge Napolitano: Justice Scalia told me that he often thought the court was being surveilled. And he told me that probably four or five years ago…If they had to unmask Senator Paul’s name to reveal a conversation he was having with a foreign agent and the foreign agent was hostile to the United States they can do that. That’s not what he’s talking about. They’re talking about unmasking him when he’s having a conversation with his campaign manager when he’s running in the Republican primary. During the discussion Judge Napolitano also said Barack Obama could be subpoenaed to testify if he viewed the unmasked intelligence.

Supreme Court Throws Out State Rule Protecting Nursing Home Residents From Having Rights Signed Away
Consumerist - In 2015, the Supreme Court of Kentucky ruled… against multiple nursing home operators, concluding that while power of attorney might give someone the authority to sign contracts on your behalf, it doesn’t explicitly allow them to preemptively waive your rights to a jury trial…. The Kentucky court held that the country’s founding fathers “deemed the right to a jury trial to be inviolate, a right that cannot be taken away; and, indeed, a right that is sacred, thus denoting that right and that right alone as a divine God-given right.” The nursing home operators petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court… last year, arguing that the Kentucky court’s ruling violates the Federal Arbitration Act. That 1926 law states that arbitration agreements “shall be valid, irrevocable, and enforceable, save upon such grounds as exist at law or in equity for the revocation of any contract.” And today, in a 7-1 ruling, SCOTUS agreed that their counterparts in Kentucky had indeed violated the FAA by “singl[ing] out arbitration agreements for disfavored treatment.”

DNC Faces Class Action Lawsuit After $1 million in Bonuses Given Out
Observer - On May 12, CBS reported another class action lawsuit was filed against the DNC for stiffing dozens of field organizers all over the country for overtime work during the 2016 election while the DNC gave out $1 million in bonuses, including more than $300,000 to Democratic National Convention Host Committee Executive Director Kevin Washo. The lawsuit was filed by Justin Swidler of Cherry Hill, N.J. on behalf of 40 to 50 field organizers against the DNC, Pennsylvania state Democrats, and five other state Democratic Parties. “These workers were out there in a campaign that was promising $15 an hour minimum wage and expanding the overtime rights of workers,” Swidler told CBS. He added the lawsuit seeks “fair pay for fair work” and to hold the Democratic Party accountable to the ideals it markets itself with…. Many of the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit worked 80 to 90 hours a week for Hillary Clinton’s campaign and were compensated only $3,000 a month.

Hillary Emerges from Woods, Launches ‘Resist’ Trump ‘Dark Money’ Organization
Infowars - Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton announced the formation of a nonprofit organization Monday, which aims to encourage citizens to “Resist, insist, persist, enlist.” The former secretary of state unveiled her Onward Together 501(c)(4) non-profit via Twitter, claiming she’s spent the last few months reflecting on her defeat, and “yes, taking walks in the woods.” On the Onward website, the group claims its mission is to advance “the vision that earned nearly 66 million votes in the last election.” “By encouraging people to organize, get involved, and run for office, Onward Together will advance progressive values and work to build a brighter future for generations to come,” the site states.

Trump Will Light White House Blue in Honor of Fallen Law Enforcement — Something Obama Refused to After Police Massacre
(D.B.: Congrats to Jean Rice's son John (Sheriff's Deputy) selected to represent Arizona in Washington D.C. Honor Guard)

The GatewayPundit - Trump released a statement on Monday morning: “In humble appreciation of our hard-working law enforcement officers, Melania and I will light the White House in blue on May 15.” This is something the Obama White House refused to do after five police officers were gunned down by a #BlackLivesMatter sympathizer last July. At a press briefing in July 2016, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest blew off a request made to President Barack Obama by a federal government police union to honor the five Dallas police officers massacred last week by a Black Lives Matter supporter by illuminating the White House in blue.

1,746 American Adults Were Asked To Point Out North Korea On A Map: This Was The Result
Zero Hedge - In April 2014… some 2,066 Americans were asked to show where the Ukraine was on a map. The result, while leaving something to be desired, was not terrible. Fast forward to this weekend, when the NYT repeated the same exercise with the latest geopolitical hotspot: North Korea. In an experiment led by Kyle Dropp of Morning Consult, he asked 1,746 American adults to point to where North Korea is on the world map…. The bottom line: just 36% got it right…. the NYT provided the following details explaining why the study was conducted: respondents who could correctly identify North Korea tended to view diplomatic and nonmilitary strategies more favorably than those who could not…. They also viewed direct military engagement – in particular, sending ground troops – much less favorably than those who failed to locate North Korea…. However what was far more surprising according to the Morning Consult survey, is that on average, Republicans – and Republican men in particular – were more likely to correctly locate North Korea than Democratic men. And Republicans were more likely to be in favor of almost all the diplomatic solutions posed by the researchers.

That there were no suspects and no motive in Rich’s death immediately drew skepticism. Many began to whether or not the rising Democratic Party star was eliminated because he either knew too much, was sharing information with Wikileaks, or both.

Unless one side of this fight backs down, World War 3 is inevitable. And so far it doesn’t look like either side is willing to compromise.

Of course, McMaster is clearly working for the Russians and we’re almost certain that anonymous sources will approach Wapo with evidence of such at some point in the very near future.

Within 72 hours there would be pandemonium on the streets of America…
