O, beloveds, being in great battle with the blood of God's children being
shed in many ways. A careful study of the discourses of Yeshua HaMashiach
will show indeed He was a reformationist. He was given in human form
from His Father the ways to show what is correct. Being perfect there
were no falsehoods of this guidance. His shedding of blood at calvary
for the attonement of sin is the salvation for all believers. Come hither
and fast forward through the meddling of mankind as beliefs became
corrupted and His children gathered in reformation to restore what was
tainted against the truth of the Lord. Remembering our nation was
founded on the principals of those discourses from our Lord. Although
Donald Trump shares his faith with his beloved family, there now comes
a greater call to evangelize to all. Henceforth, this calling is being answered.
Wouldst I tell to you Donald was learning God's word at the age of six and
by the age of twelve had memorized the Lord's catechism and in military
academy had learned the meaning of stewardship.
Watch closely to this unfoldment future, it is just beginning ...

It started with a protest in 1517, when Martin Luther, a German Augustinian monk, nailed his 95 Theses to a church door in Wittenberg. What started as the spiritual doubts of one monk, spiralled into a religious movement known as Protestantism - named after Luther's "protest".
Luther, a gifted Renaissance scholar, returned to the primacy of the scriptures: to the actual text of the Bible, and then rejected all the Church's practices that were not written therein. He interpreted the Bible as the literal word of God. Specifically, Luther rejected the authority of the Pope, an action that usually led to a charge of heresy and being burnt at the stake.

In 1557 the Scottish Protestant nobles signed their First Covenant, banding together to form the group known as the lords of the congregation (see Scotland, Church of). When, in 1559, Mary of Guise moved against the Protestants, the lords of the congregation took up arms and invited Knox back from Geneva to lead them. Aided by England and by the regent's death in 1560, the reformers forced the withdrawal of the French troops that had come to Mary's aid and won their freedom as well as dominance for the new religion. Under Knox's direction, a confession of faith (basically Calvinist) was drawn up (1560) and passed by the Scottish Parliament, which also passed laws abolishing the authority of the pope and condemning all creeds and practices of the old religion. The Book of Discipline, however, which provided an organizational structure for the new church, failed to get adequate approval from the nobles in 1561.

Martin Luther had his Philip Melanchthon. Ulrich Zwingli had his Heinrich Bullinger. John Calvin had his Theodore Beza. John Knox had his John Craig. Of these leading 16th Century Protestant Reformers and their most prominent colleagues, John Craig of Scotland is the least known, but his influence is not insignificant. John Craig (1512-1600) was an almost-martyr who converted to Calvinism in the backyard of the Pope and who, along with John Knox and others, helped reform the church in Scotland. Knox famously made the queen cry, but it was Craig who brought the King to tears. His greatest legacy centers on his large (1581) and small catechisms (1590). These catechisms shaped Scottish theology for generations and was only replaced by the Westminster Confession. This volume surveys the life and catechisms of this great reformer. With Knox, Craig helped reform the Scottish Kirk through pen and pulpit. History has almost forgotten this great minister of the gospel. We dare not let that happen.

I have heard it often said that there is no one right way to accomplish a goal. I agree. However, I would add that while there is no such thing as “one right way” to achieve an objective, this does not mean there aren’t numerous WRONG ways to achieve an objective. Doing “something” is not always better than doing nothing if that “something” is based on terrible strategy. Unfortunately, there are people out there with otherwise good intentions, even in the liberty movement, that seem to think that taking action without planning is preferable to patience. They do not understand that there is such a thing as negative returns. The reality is that action is easy. Patience and planning are difficult. Emotional reaction is simple. Quiet professionalism is complicated. This is the dynamic that is plaguing the liberty movement today; the battle between our emotional drive to jump headlong into conflict with our progressively corrupt establishment, and the absolute necessity for intelligent strategy and proper timing.
