Ms Delgado writes a brilliant editorial for Breitbart this morning, detailing 20 specific — and well-documented — reasons why Donald Trump should be the GOP’s candidate when the general election for President of the United States rolls around in a little more than a year. I won’t list them all, but I wanted to share the five most important ones: these are the reasons why Trump is already on top, but for their own selfish reasons, the GOP establishment simply won’t accept.

Ms Delgado in her own words:

  • His Policies Are Right
Delgado points out that his immigration stance is correct: illegal immigration is costing this nation in monstrously devastating ways.  Economist Paul Krugman begrudgingly admitted Trump’s economic statements about taxation were right. Trump was right about his prediction that a loose border policy would help terrorists commit heinous acts like 9/11.
  •  Many Latinos Love Him
“The media keeps insisting Latinos despise Trump,” Delgado writes. “Except, we don’t. In fact, many of us love him. Myriam Wichter, the Columbian immigrant from the recent Las Vegas Trump rally, is not an anomaly. Hang-onto-your-horses for this whopper of a ‘revelation’: America’s Latinos have the same wants, needs, and concerns as other Americans! Our priorities are the same as “Anglos”: jobs, healthcare, and so on! A truly novel concept!
  • African-Americans Love Trump Too
Read that header closely, GOP. One more time. When’s the last time you had a Presidential Candidate even make a little notch in the black vote? Trump has rapid white fans, rabid Latino fans, and rabid black fans too! As Delgado shows, “Trump is the first Republican who actually has a chance at obtaining a huge chunk of the African-American vote. The main reason is simple – African-Americans are angry, and rightly so, about immigration and what it’s doing to this nation and to their job prospects.”
  • He is a Man of Sound Morals
“Look at a man’s actions and his record in life. What is Trump’s? For one, he’s known for treating his workers well. Second, is there no ugly scandal or brush with the law – he seems to lead a fairly straight-arrow life,” Delgado writes. “Two divorces? Sure. Marriages sometimes don’t work out. Ask Newt Gingrich or even Ronald Reagan himself. He’s on friendly terms with both ex-wives, though. What does that tell you?”
She goes on to say, “His children routinely express what a loving, supportive father he’s been. Point me to another businessman of Trump’s money with four adult children, all of whom have stayed away from scandal and disgrace despite growing up in the spotlight. We’d be hard pressed to find one – meaning, Trump clearly did something right.”
  • If It’s Not Trump, We Are Doomed
This is the most important point Delgado makes. In her estimation, if a man this popular across the board, speaking for Americans — and not corporate or Super PAC interests — can’t hold the top poll position for months, who is scandal-free, unbought, and truly represents the American dream… if a man like that is going to be forced out of the race by people claiming to represent the very party he’s running with? Then democracy in this country is a farce, your vote doesn’t matter, and probably never did.  “The jig will be up on the illusion of American democracy, for if a candidate with Trump’s enormous support cannot secure the nomination, then there really is no political process to speak of.”

If the people don't remain steadfast, those listed next to Mr. Trump's picture, above, will bring him down whether you like it or not.
Until next time, your friend in freedom.
