The PRIMARY reason for that clause is the
fact that OUR Founders stayed in foreign countries for YEARS at a time and
developed close ties with heads of and highly influential friends of the
Kings. To NULLIFY (somewhat) the association of OUR reps and the FOREIGN
power brokers the Founders included this requirement EVEN FOR AN NBC qualified
CITIZEN.
Now if an NBC qualified person
had to be IN THE UNITED STATES for 14 years... why would anyone attempt to
MODIFY the NBC CLAUSE? Wouldn't one believe that the FOUNDERS were
TERRIFIED of having SOME FOREIGN anti AMERICAN sit in as POTUS and be the
commander of our MILITARY? AND! for the reasons that founders had for the 14
years provision is the same reasoning IBM used for its senior exectuves in past
years. NO LONGER THAN FIVE YEARS in any one location of division of
IBM. This policy prevented GROUP THINK and conspiracies for the SENIOR
EXECS to vote themselves benefits from the COMPANY trough. Unions, PTA,
legislators and ALL of organizations in SOCIETY "DO" vote themselves BENEFITS
that someone else has to pay for.
