Assembly Republicans Announce Leadership for 78th Nevada Legislature

Assembly Republicans announced Tuesday leadership assignments for the 78th Nevada Legislature. Speaker of the Assembly John Hambrick Speaker pro Tempore John Ellison Majority Leader Michele Fiore Fiore is the first female Republican to serve in this position. Assistant Majority Leader Ira Hansen Majority Whip Jim Wheeler Assistant Majority Whip - Southern Victoria DeLaGuerra Seaman Seaman is the first Latina Republican to be elected to the Nevada Assembly. Assistant Majority Whip - Northern Jill Dickman Rural Caucus Chairman John Ellison "Nevadans elected us to represent them in our Legislature, and it's important that we also represent the diversity of Nevada in our Assembly leadership," said John Hambrick, Assembly Speaker-designate.
