During the next 3 months, We the People-Alabama
are asking our supporting members to submit ideas and suggestions for
legislative initiatives that will be submitted to the Alabama
Legislature for action during the next legislative session and for which
the job performance of each Alabama legislator will be rated during
that session, whether the initiative is acted upon or not.
During
the 2014 legislative session, 4 initiatives were submitted to the
Legislature for action. One was acted upon and 3 were not. The Job
Performance Rating of each legislator was rated accordingly for the
initiative that was voted on depending on how each legislator voted. The
JPR for each legislator was “docked” accordingly for each of the 3
initiatives that were not brought up for a vote, two of which will be
carried forward to the 2015 legislative session and to each session from
now on until they are brought up for a vote by the people’s
representatives.
