John Boehner quietly announced that Congress will work out a new, sweeping immigration bill this year - and that he's ready to compromise with the anti-American wishes of the far Left.
He's compromising with Democrats - in a year when Obama is on the run, Democrats are terrified, and dozens of new conservatives are overwhelmingly expected to win elections this November.
Why on earth would Boehner throw a lifeline to the drowning Democrats, and shift the conversation away from ObamaCare now, when we'll almost certainly hold both houses of Congress (and all the power) in just a few months?
