At almost every meeting, rally or event that We the People – Alabama members
attend, someone invariably says the “We need to hold our elected
representatives accountable!” With the Job Performance Report, We the
people now have a powerful tool to do just that, but like any tool, it
is only effective if one uses it. Of the many possible uses for the JPR,
the most effective is the awareness of each legislator that his or her
job performance is being monitored by his/her constituents and that they
will vote accordingly during the next election. This issue of your
newsletter is devoted entirely to the Alabama Legislative Job
Performance Review in advance of the June primaries and November general
election.
