A Story That Needed Telling
I have been very angry, though privately, with people who have attacked Ben Sasse for being friends with Mike Leavitt, the former Bush Secretary of Health and Human Services who sucks on Obamacare. I have been privy to private information. I’m very glad the Sasse campaign is now telling this story.  . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Insert Witty “War on Women” Paycheck Fairness Reference Here
President Obama’s latest pen and phone exercise is aimed at satisfying the Democrats demands for a “Paycheck Fairness Act.” Adept at playing politics for election year gains, the left is again touting the false premise that women only make $ 0.77 for every $1.00 a man does, creating an artificial divide where a government “fix” provides more problems rather than free-market solutions that actually work. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Matt Bevin: Mitch McConnell Is A Bully With A Thirty-Year ‘Machiavellian Death-Grip’
Last week, FreedomWorks hosted #FreePAC Kentucky, a grassroots rally and gathering that featured excellent speakers and a fired up base. One of the most popular speakers was Senate candidate and Mitch McConnell primary-foe Matt Bevin. I had the chance to speak with him after the even for a few quick questions.  . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Eric Holder Proposes Bracelets For Gun Owners, Fingerprint Readers For Guns
Eric Holder, the Attorney General and unindicted co-conspirator in the death of at least one Border Patrol agent and hundreds of innocent Mexican civilians, appeared before a House Appropriations subcommittee last Friday and waxed philosophical on the next step in the administration’s war against the Bill of Rights. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Why Does Senator Mark Udall [D-CO] Pay Women Less Than Men?
As the President’s popularity continues to erode and Congressional Democrats begin to see the electoral DOOM on the horizon, it isn’t a surprise that Senator Mark Udall supports the efforts of the President and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to change the focus of attention to equal pay for women. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Illegal Immigration, Misplaced Compassion, and Healthcare Reform
When listening to open borders agitators like former Florida governor Jeb Bush, one would come away with the impression that we owe it to the world to accept anyone who comes here illegally and pay for their living expenses.  They speak of lofty ideals loosely connected to love and compassion, but they never consider the lack of love and compassion that our open borders policy imposes on the American consumer and taxpayer.  There is no better example than the bankrupting of our hospitals at the hands of Jeb’s “lovely” invaders.  . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Paying for your freedom
In the early stages of the Hobby Lobby religious liberty lawsuit against ObamaCare, the justices installed by Barack Obama, Sotomayor and Kagan, had a little conversation about how the owners of the company could easily get their right of conscience back, if they would just pay a nice fat surcharge for it.  ”Hobby Lobby would choose not to provide health insurance at all,” Justice Kagan explained.  ”And in that case Hobby Lobby would pay $2000 per employee, which is less than Hobby Lobby probably pays to provide insurance to its employees.  So there is a choice here.  It’s not even a penalty by… in the language of the statute, it’s a payment or a tax.  There’s a choice.” . . . please click here for the rest of the post
