There is truth in the adage, “if
you want to know what’s going on, follow the money.” Tragically, it is
true in the financially profitable baby-killing industry – and it must come to an end.

Conservatives,
Last year, while tens of millions of Americans struggled to make ends meet, CNSNews revealed that Planned Parenthood had no budget shortage – thanks to the
generosity of our “progressive” President and Harry Reid’s compliant
Senate.
“Planned Parenthood’s net revenue
increased 5% to a total of $1.21 billion in its organizational fiscal
year ending on June 30, 2013, according to its new Annual Report, and
about 45% of that revenue -- $540.6 million – was provided by taxpayer-funded government health services grants” (emphasis added).
In the same Annual Report, Planned
Parenthood said that in the year that ended on Sept. 30, 2012, it
performed 327,166 abortions.
Liberty Counsel Action has
continually fought for the defunding of Planned Parenthood, the largest
abortion provider in the nation.
++We have a God-sent opportunity to advance the pro-life agenda right now!
It is very difficult to face the
horrendous reality of industrialized abortion in America, so when we
have an opportunity to win a real victory for life, we must not let it
pass us by!
I am pleased to report that there is renewed energy and a growing movement in the United States Senate to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.
This bill prohibits an abortion
from being performed if the probable post-fertilization age of the
unborn child is 20 weeks or greater unless the mother’s life is in
danger.
We must aggressively motivate
the Senate Judiciary Committee to take action and allow this bill to get
to the Senate floor for a full vote. This will happen if just two more Democrat senators on the committee say, “yes.”
This is an urgent
request for you to contact your state senators, members of the Senate
Judiciary Committee, and other lawmakers to help promote the passage of S. 1670, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

The news headline that greeted
many of us this morning on the Drudge Report and other news outlets was,
“Aborted babies incinerated to heat hospitals.”
The UK Telegraph revealed
that, “The remains of more than 15,000 babies were incinerated as
‘clinical waste’ by hospitals in Britain with some used for ‘waste to
energy’ programs.”
While I was relieved that this
barbaric act wasn’t taking place in America, I am still deeply saddened
that those 15,000 babies’ lives were taken from them and their remains
cynically used in such a gruesome manner. To save energy and disposal
costs, British hospitals were actually using these tiny bodies in a
“waste to energy” program!
With this macabre and heinous
practice exposed for all to see, Britain’s National Healthcare System
director has (probably begrudgingly) ordered an end to the practice.
Yet, under the horrific
abortion-promoting measures in ObamaCare, similar actions could take
place one day in America under our newly nationalized healthcare
system.
Who would put it past the
ObamaCare team to allow such atrocities to be used as a “medical
cost-savings measure”? After all, the British medical system was a
primary inspiration for the ObamaCare planners. The underlying
industrial/utilitarian approach to medicine is the same.
++The time to pass abortion-limiting measures is now!
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) now has 40 cosponsors of the Pain-Capable
bill, but the Democrat majority in the Senate Judiciary Committee has
locked it up, prohibiting it to come to the full Senate floor for a
vote.
This is a time when all pro-life Americans must rise up in defense of the most innocent among us!
Join me in calling
on the Senate Judiciary Committee to release S. 1670, the Pain-Capable
Unborn Child Protection Act, to the entire Senate for a full up-or-down
vote.
We need just two more Democrats to
join the Republicans in the Judiciary Committee to vote “yes” to get
the bill to the entire Senate for an up-or-down vote. I believe that
grassroots pressure will spur the committee to act.
