1.  Reboot and Recommit for 2014. Support @NikkiHaley
As many of you settle back into your office chairs this morning, understand this: the left still dominates the right in online fundraising. They are able to fund and support candidates online in a way we can only dream about. And they intend to harness the power of the online left to support candidates in states around the country.

One of those states is going to be South Carolina. You may laugh at the idea of a Democrat winning the gubernatorial race in South Carolina. But when you understand the Democrats are working with a group of spend-thrift Republicans who want to shut up the conservative movement, it’ll all make sense.

They can’t do it alone. But they can do it with the support of big government Republicans. That is why we must respond by showing our online strength and our online ability to raise money. Governor Nikki Haley is the perfect candidate to do this with.

Four years ago, Governor Haley was in the state legislature. She was running for Governor of South Carolina. At Christmas time she called me. She was running low on money, running behind in the polls, and she needed help to just stay in the race. RedState readers quickly raised her a pile of money to stick with the race. She made it through the fundraising quarter, got Sarah Palin’s endorsement, and eventually won the race outright.

I said I wanted to re-do that this past Christmas. But then life intervened and I was unceremoniously admitted to the hospital, Washington politics crowded out other stories, and then Christmas came. But I still want to help. You need to help.  . . . please click here for the rest of the post

2.  Why Faith?
I am thirty-eight years old. When I was young, immature, and lacked much self-awareness about my place in the world way back four years ago I referred to Justice David Souter, then retiring from the United States Supreme Court, as a “goat f**king child molester” on twitter. No one noticed.

3.  Rep. Peter King of New York Supported a Soviet Backed Terrorist Group
Rep. Peter King lashed out at Senator Rand Paul yesterday over Sen. Paul’s position on the National Security Agency.

In a bit of hysteria, he questioned Senator Paul’s patriotism and loyalty to the United States. This is pretty rich considering Rep. Peter King, during the Cold War, supported a Soviet backed terrorist group responsible for killing many. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

4.  Creating a Constitutional Litmus Test
It’s understandably hard to focus our attention directly on all the fronts the radical left has opened up in their truculent effort to transform our Republic.  They are erasing our borders, disrupting the markets, infringing on our liberties, appeasing our enemies, and taking over major sectors of the economy.  Most of us would like to direct the lion’s share of our energy towards the economic issues plaguing our Country, especially Obamacare.  But the inexorable assault on our civil society has made it impossible for us to remain silent on the so-called social issues.  It’s time to stand and be counted. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

5.  Right-To-Work Advocates Are Ready For Prime Time In Missouri
At 10 am, on Wednesday, proponents from all over the state of Missouri are meeting at the Missouri State House (get directions here).

The reason for the meeting is to seek to end unions’ ability to have workers fired for refusing to pay union dues by seeing a Right to Work law passed in the state. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

6.  The Seat of Scoffers
The other day, needling the global warming alarmist crowd, I tweeted that Christ’s return was certain and global warming is not. The frenzy and hysteria from these people — many of whom also scream “Science!” while holding that gender is a choice — was breathtaking. One member of this modern religion declared, “you’re really goin to claim the term ‘global warming’ means that temperatures will literally get warmer?” He subsequently deleted that tweet. . . . please click here for the rest of the post
