BROKEN PROMISES OF A LIAR!

SO, WHERE ARE THE PROMISED JOBS?

by Lee S Gliddon Jr

In many of Obama's orchestrated events where there were adoring, 'screech owl,' fans he loudly proclaimed:

"The proposed Stimulus Plan will create thousands of jobs;"

The Food Stamp program will create countless numbers of jobs;"

Obamacare (Affordable Healthcare Act) will create jobs, that is a promise;"

"We must raise the debt limit in order to create jobs;"

"We must Extend Unemployment Benefits as jobs are created;"

"The creation of Promise Zones will allow jobs creation," and,

" The bailouts will created jobs security."

Well, the Stimulus Plan failed. No jobs were created and many projects  were, by Obama's own admission, "not shovel ready."

The Food Stamps program created takers, not jobs!

Obamacare is costing jobs, medical coverages, physicians and the destruction of the finest medical delivery systems on earth.

The Debt Limit has proven to be destructive and has not a single job creation!

The Extension of Unemployment Benefits actually deters job seeking as it smothers jobs creation.

Now we are asked to believe Promise Zones are to create jobs. Wherte is there a scintilla of proof?

"The Bailouts saved our auto industry," boasts Obama. Well, then why has GM relocated its main manufacturing hub to China? A full 63% of Chevrolet automobiles are noe imported to America!

The GOP led House of Representatives has PASSED countless Bills that are ACTUAL JOB CREATORS!

Where are those Bills? They ALL DIED in the desk drawers of Senator Harry 'Hands Up' Reid , Obama's RUBBER STAMP and henchman.

Energy production creates jobs. That apparently scared Obama so he had the EPA render numerous regulations so as to not only stifle jobs creation, but to destroy jobs as well.

The states of North and South Dakota have phenomenally low unemployment. Why? They are energy producing states.

The Keystone XL project is a potential jobs producer. That is exactly why Obama steadfastly refuses to let it go forward.

We hear the grandiose pronouncements of Obama  as he speaks before his hand picked audience speaking of jobs creation and listen as they screech (once again) their adoration.

Only one question can be asked: WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

  1. Comment of Phil Bulfinch:

I think that all of the “promised jobs” have occurred and that Obama kept his oath to create them.

It’s just that you and I assumed incorrectly that the “promised jobs” would be in the US.

I can’t imagine that driving this country into the dirt does not result in more jobs outside the US as the US production diminishes and workers seek other more comfortable options.

Even the undocumented agricultural laborers (call them what you will) seem to want to remain in their country of origin, at least as to my observation from the farm and ranch management standpoint.

I note to you that the Singh family in Oceanside CA, the ninth largest tomato grower in the US, went belly up a few years ago due to documented worker shortages, and increased regulatory compliance for food growing (i.e. pesticides, packing, shipping, and other similar requirements). While at the same time, salmonella outbreaks from human feces fertilization of non-US crops was the norm and scare after scare has been the result.

Again I opine that the “promised jobs” have certainly been acquired outside the US.

How do we thank Mr. O for his kept promise?

Perhaps the alleged planned “coup” I’m reading about by US Generals that won’t fire on US citizens may be the way to say thanks?

LOL at the absurdity of this…

  2. Comment of Diane Ward: I agree totally, and have been unemployed for 2 years now! Unemployment insurance did help and it was extended but I'd must rather have had a job! Now it has run out, as it always will and I still can't find work!!! SO tragic, we have grandkids who can't even get clerk/sales jobs and they are trying every day to find something. I think it's my age, but with them it seems to be no experience, even after participating in Job Corp, until it ran out of money! SO for every missing opportunity, there seems to be some excuse!
