Pro-Life Duck Dynasty Star Phil Roberston Suspended After Controversial Comments
Duck Dynasty star Phil Roberston has been suspended by A&E because of controversial comments he made about the Bible’s view on homosexuality.
Robertson discusses in his GQ interview his religious beliefs and about sin, saying, “start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/pro-life-duck-dynasty-star-phil-roberston-suspended-after-controversial-comments/
Like Phil Robertson, It’s Time for Christians to Speak Up Against Sin
Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty was fired because of the cowardice of Christians to speak the truth about sin.
The irony of this news is that last night I sat down and watched my first episodes of Duck Dynasty to see what all the buzz was about and why my kids wanted Duck Dynasty stuff for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised to see the prayer led by Phil Robertson at the end of each episode, and how he talked about his wife of 50 years. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/like-phil-robertson-its-time-for-christians-to-speak-up-against-sin/

Feminist Mob Invades Catholic Church, Unfurls Pro-Abortion Banner on Altar
Pro-abortion feminists are not happy that the European Parliament rejected a bill that would have called abortion a human right. In response, in protest, they invaded a local Catholic church in Italy and unfurled a pro-abortion banner on the church’s altar.
“A group of pro-abortion feminists have invaded the Catholic cathedral in Bologna, Italy, to protest against the rejection by the European Parliament of the pro-abortion Estrela report,” says John Smeaton, the head of the British pro-life group Society for the Protection of Unborn Children. “The protesters unfurled a pro-abortion banner in front of the cathedral’s sanctuary. Cardinal Carlo Caffara, Bologna’s archbishop, had called upon the European Parliament to reject the Estrela report.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/feminist-mob-invades-catholic-church-unfurls-pro-abortion-banner-on-altar/

Baby Put in Bucket of Water and Drowned After Botched Abortion
David C. Reardon interviewed many women who had abortions for his book Aborted Women: Silent No More. This powerful book contains heartbreaking testimonies from women who regretted their abortions, as well as the most extensive survey of post-abortion women I’ve ever been able to find. Among the many testimonies in the book, Reardon presents the story of “Molly Graham,” who worked in a hospital and assisted in abortion procedures.
According to Aborted Women Silent No More, Graham had had several abortions and was not troubled by them when she began working as an anesthesiologist at an unnamed hospital that performed abortions. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/abortion-clinic-worker-quits-after-seeing-baby-born-alive-after-botched-abortion/

Campaign Will Help Teacher Fired After Kicking Planned Parenthood Out of His Class
Bill Diss is the pro-life teacher who was fired this week after a local school board in the liberal bastion of Portland, Oregon was upset he dared to kick Planned Parenthood out of his classroom.
But the pro-life movement isn’t content to let Diss deal with the firing without support. Pro-life advocate Jimmy Nolan has created a campaign designed to raise funds for Diss to help him as he continues battling the school board. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/campaign-will-help-teacher-fired-after-kicking-planned-parenthood-out-of-his-class/
Women File More Than 1,200 Complaints Against Indiana Abortion Doc
Women have now filed more than 1,200 complaints against an Indiana-based abortion practitioner saying he submitted false and misleading reports to state health officials about their abortions.
Representatives from Indiana Right to Life today informed LifeNews about more consumer complaints were filed against Gary’s Friendship Family Planning abortion doctor Ulrich Klopfer, who lives in Illinois but does abortions in Indiana. Each complaint is the result of a terminated pregnancy report containing errors or omissions, the group says. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/women-file-more-than-1200-complaints-against-indiana-abortion-doc/
Americans Have a Right to Know if Their Insurance Covers Abortions
Yesterday, Senator Pat Roberts, a pro-life Kansas Republican, introduced the Senate companion to the “Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act.”
This legislation was introduced in the House by pro-life Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) and requires prominent, transparent disclosure of abortion coverage for each plan offered on a health care exchange. It also requires that the amount of the abortion surcharge be clearly identified for each plan that includes elective abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/americans-have-a-right-to-know-if-their-insurance-covers-abortions/
Judge Tosses HHS Mandate Lawsuit, Head of Catholic Group: “We Won’t Obey It”
A judge has essentially attempted to force a leading pro-life Catholic group to obey the HHS mandate, which might compel it to pay for insurance that pays for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/judge-forces-pro-life-catholic-group-to-obey-hhs-mandate/
Pro-Life Law Drops Abortions to Lowest in a Decade at Last Clinic in North Dakota
Do pro-life laws work and do they have the ability to save unborn babies from abortion? In North Dakota, the answer is clearly yes — where the passage of one pro-life law has led to a reduction of 15% of the abortions done in the state. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/12/19/pro-life-law-drops-abortions-to-lowest-in-a-decade-at-last-clinic-in-north-dakota/
