SAVING JIM WHEELER
Dear
Conservative Friend -
Just
wanted to give you an update on what happened last night during the three-hour
Assembly Republican conference call - the original purpose of which was to kick
embattled conservative Assemblyman Jim
Wheeler out of the caucus in order to make some big-money business
interests happy.
I
understand you and I were a big part of the conversation!
The
moderate caucus members – especially Minority Leader Pat Hickey - are not happy
with the pressure we brought on them to come to Mr. Wheeler’s defense rather
than shove him off the cliff.
In
the end, the Assembly GOP caucus did NOT kick Mr. Wheeler out last night.
Clearly
they knew the hell they would pay from you and me if they did.
Expect
them sometime today to release a brief statement slapping Mr. Wheeler on the
wrist and declaring there is no north-south split (even though there is) and
that the caucus is one, big happy family (even though it isn’t).
You
and I helped save Jim Wheeler last night.
He
left me a voicemail asking me to thank you for your support
during this difficult time.
So…thank
you!
But
now is not the time to ease up on
these people.
Now’s the time to turn the
heat up.
The
RINOs and the Gumbies in the Legislature desperately want conservatives –
including Tea Party and Liberty Movement conservatives – to go away (or worse,
go to #$%!).
But
we’re not going anywhere.
We’re
going to keep fighting their grow-government agenda every step of the way!
And
with your continued financial support, you and I will become an even bigger
irritant to these people in 2014.
So please consider taking a minute right
