Conservatives,
The
government "shutdown" has sadly become a cynical political pawn in the
hands of Present Obama and his team. Team Obama is doing everything it
its power to make Americans "feel" the impact of the shutdown. Consider
this...
National parks have been closed. Government officials even attempted to barricade the parking lot to Mount Vernon before the barricades were removed because George Washington's home is privately run! Team Obama even took the Amber Alert website off line temporarily...all because of the shutdown.
+ + 1,100 Square Miles Of Open Ocean "Closed"
According to the Miami Herald, the National Park Service even went so far as to close 1,100 square miles of open ocean off the coast of Florida allegedly due to the government shutdown! The Herald calls this "prime fishing" area that will be closed "until further notice."
But all this is a distraction to keep Americans from focusing on the real issue, which is ObamaCare.
The
fact is, President Obama and Harry Reid will do anything in their power
to ensure that nothing stands in the way of ObamaCare. They prefer a
government shutdown over any compromise on ObamaCare. Obama will not
even consider giving you and me at the very least the same one year
DELAY in implementation of the individual mandate that they have already
given to businesses for the employer mandate!

This could be the most critical week in the entire ObamaCare/government shutdown showdown. That's why I'm asking every friend of Liberty Counsel Action to take a stand.
Today, I'm announcing a nationwide grassroots effort to rally a 200,000 citizen contacts to Capitol Hill this week to stop ObamaCare.
Later this week, Liberty Counsel will be delivering tens of thousands of "Delay, Defund, or Defeat ObamaCare" petitions to key members of Congress. But we must do more.
I need thousands of Liberty Counsel Action friends to take a bold stand by faxing their members of Congress this week and KEEP THE FOCUS ON OBAMACARE.

Because of the "shutdown," you cannot call the White House. But you still can call Congress although it may be difficult to connect with many offices.

Liberty Counsel Action has been one of the leading voices in opposition to ObamaCare. We have exposed ObamaCare as an economic catastrophe and an ominous threat to our fundamental liberties.
As you may know, I am working right now to defeat ObamaCare in court -- with our sister organization Liberty Counsel's case now working its way toward what I hope will be a landmark Supreme Court showdown.
But right now, the American people must take action by speaking out this week in opposition to ObamaCare.
Again, if Obama and Harry Reid have their way, they will succeed at "blaming" the government shutdown on Republicans and avoid altogether the real issue at stake which is ObamaCare.
Let's be clear...
Obama and Reid have willfully shut down the government because they refuse to delay, even one year, their beloved ObamaCare. They will not give the American people the same one-year delay in ObamaCare that Obama already has given to any business with at least 50 employees.
