BJ3: We also are
practicing Catholics. And it's this "politispeak" rhetoric which does
nothing but divide
"The
Church". I have found NO ONE that agrees with The Cardinal on his implied
message...that "the Catholic Church is pro-illegal immigration and so should
Catholics be". Plus, from day one of his candidacy for the New York
post, we have told anyone we could that he is fully pro-illegal immigration.
Dispute, no more. In all this, those in the Church that push such a
policy are NOT, above all, one thing:
They are NOT Patriots, NOT
pro-USA...and also NOT pro-their own American flock...that has loyally
supported The Church. These then will be resisted in all such non-religious
matters, FORCING most Church members to do the exact opposite of what they,
these "leaders", think they want and need.
And, btw, considering all the
difficulties that Americans are enduring, the Cardinal's timing couldn't be much
worse, displaying perhaps sufficient poor judgment for some to call for his
removal.
Let's hear what other Catholics reading this think.

OPINION re "Catholic Church Welcomes
Migrants"
As a practicing
Catholic and an immigrant myself, I took interest in Cardinal Timothy
Dolan's
"Immigration
and the Welcoming
Church" (Houses of
Worship, Oct. 18). However, he is
misinformed
regarding the
immigration bill passed by the Senate. Cardinal Dolan says it would
"require participants
to learn
English" to attain
citizenship, but this has been federal law for legal immigrants since
1907.
S. 744 contains no requirement for illegal immigrants to
learn English in order to get work permits
or
amnesty. Their work permits can be renewed indefinitely.
They only have to show some knowledge of
English if they apply for green cards after
10-and-a-half years of residency.
Cardinal Dolan refers to "barriers to immersion," yet
the Senate bill works against immigrant assimilation.
If the Senate bill becomes law, the reverse of what the
cardinal predicts will occur. Demands for
foreign-
language government services will increase and divide
the U.S. into separate linguistic enclaves,
moving
us further away from e pluribus
unum ("from many, one").

Why am I
not surprised that the US Army is teaching the troops that Christians and
Tea Party members are terrorists? After all
the commander in
chief, by virtue of his actions and his early education, if not a Muslim,
is certainly a Muslim sympathizer. He
advocated support of deposed
Egyptian president Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood whose
followers are persecuting
Christians. In addition,
there are others in senior leadership who are Muslims: John Brennan, or
Muslim sympathizers: Valerie
Jarrett. Secretary of the
Army, John McHugh former Republican representative from New York gave up
his district to the
Democrat, for his
appointment, never served in our nation’s military. Janet Napalitano
former Secretary of the Department of
Homeland Insecurity, in the
April 2009 Intelligence Assessment indicated that veterans represented a
potential terrorist threat
because they could be
recruited by right wing extremists, so now veterans, Christians and Tea
Party members according to this
government, all are
similarly categorized. What must we do to ensure that these accusations
and allegations stop? Surely we
cannot expect the
weaklings, sissies and anti Christians that represent the majority of both
parties in congress and the senate
to take a stand on
behalf of the people. Why must members of our military, our children and
grandchildren, who were brought
up in Christian homes
in a Christian nation, be subjected to this indoctrination? Do more of our
soldiers have to be forced to
sympathize with the Muslims
who will kill them once their backs are turned.
It is time for
veterans and Christians to take back our country before the
senior military leadership and this administration destroys it completely. We shall not gather strength by inaction. We cannot effectively resist through passivity and deluding ourselves in the hope
that the situation
will change. We should not wait until we have been totally
neutralized..
We have in our power the ability to force our enemies to retreat. We should not be afraid to challenge our enemies or
continue to be
intimidated by the ideology of political correctness. In this conflict the
sheepdogs will fight the wolves and
may perhaps be
destroyed in the process. Much like the original signers, but they (we)
shall leave a legacy of freedom to the
sheep,,if they choose
to accept it and are willing to carry on the
fight.

Economy Crisis, because they never had the guts to take all illegal’s out
