   California is a great place—criminals get released from jail far short of their sentences.  Santa Clara is giving career criminals a years worth of free rent.  Criminals from foreign countries are rewarded for their daily law breaking with drivers’ licenses—so they can illegal work, taking jobs from Americans.
   We have one of the highest rate of fraud in the nation in handling our Food Stamp program.  That is NOT good enough for Guv Jerry—he wants to be number one!  With his new policies we will be number one; even Donald Trump could get food stamps in California....“The guidance shall establish that dependent care expenses shall be considered verified upon receipt of a self-certified statement of monthly dependent care expenses, unless federal law or guidance requires additional documentation.
It does not take power away from individual counties to ask for additional documentation if it’s believed that information they receive from those applying for food stamps is questionable.”   LINK

California is a great place to live and “work” if you are a criminal.  Thanks to Guv Brown a “life” sentence could be less than ten years.  A five year sentence could mean you will miss a couple of football games on Monday night.  If you violate Federal immigration laws that means you will be sentenced to drivers licenses, welfare payments, cell phone, free education and health care, and a get out of free card thanks to sanctuary cities like Santa Ana, San Fran and Los Angeles—oh, the horrors of it all.
“The law provides for a change in procedures that would eliminate the need to have a social security number. The law states that an applicant for a driver’s license will no longer have to provide proof that they are legally in the United States to obtain a license.
The first ramification of this is that the law specifically requires that the license be separately identified. But the law then states: “it is a violation of law to discriminate against an individual because he or she holds or presents a license issued under these provisions.” That means if you are an employer in the state of California you must treat an illegal immigrant with a driver’s license just like an American citizen.”  LINK
George Wallace is smiling.  Though the former Alabama Governor has been dead many years, his bigoted polices are making a comeback—in the Obama Administration.  People marched, rally, sat-in, and worked campaign to end the racist policy of enrolling students in colleges based on the color of their skin.  A generation later, the ghost of Wallace is working in the Oval Office.  Like Wallace, President Obama is telling government to ignore the rulings against bigotry and discrimination by the U.S. Supreme Court—Wallace would be proud.
Bigotry is OK, per Obama, if it leads to artificial “diversity” and harms those getting seats based on race.

Park Service OKs immigration reform rally on 'closed' National Mall

   A planned immigration reform rally will take place on the National Mall on Tuesday even though the site is closed due to the government shutdown.   Organizers for the "Camino Americano: March for Immigration Reform" were spotted Monday setting up a stage and equipment on the National Mall for the rally which will take place on Tuesday.  A few scattered barriers around the park have signs informing visitors that the area is closed as a result of the government shutdown.
   Susana Flores, a spokesperson for the rally, confirmed for the Washington Examiner that the Park Service will allow the event to take place under the group's rights granted by the First Amendment. About 30 members of Congress are expected to attend the rally, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J.
The event is hosted by several immigration activist groups, together with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the AFL-CIO.###

    My name is Jim Neugent. I wrote to ABC (on-line) concerning a program called 'THE PRACTICE.' In last night’s episode, one of the lawyer's mothers decided she is gay and wanted her son to go to court and help her get a marriage license so she could marry her 'partner.' I sent the following letter to ABC yesterday and really did not expect a reply, but I did get one.
   My original message was:       ABC is obsessed with the subject of homosexuality. I will no longer watch any of your attempts to convince the world that homosexuality is OK. ' THE PRACTICE' can be a fairly good show, but last night's program was so typical of your agenda. You picked the 'dufus' of the office to be the one who was against the idea of his mother being gay, and made him look like a whiner because he had convictions. This type of mentality calls people like me a 'gay basher.'
   Read the first chapter of Romans (that's in the Bible); and see what the apostle Paul had to say about it..... He, God and Jesus were all 'gay bashers'. What if she'd fallen in love with her cocker spaniel? Is that an alternative life style? (By the way, the Bible speaks against that, too.)  --Jim Neugent
Here is ABC's reply from the ABC on-line webmaster:       How about getting your nose out of the Bible (which is ONLY a book of stories compiled by MANY different writers hundreds of years ago) and read the declaration of independence (what our nation is built on), where it says 'All Men are Created equal,' and try treating them that way for a change!  Or better yet, try thinking for yourself and stop using an archaic book of stories as your lame crutch for your existence. You are in the minority in this country, and your boycott will not affect us at ABC or our freedom of statement.
