Feds Try to Close the OCEAN Because of Shutdown Mike Flynn Just before the weekend, the National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was "closed" due to the shutdown. Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown. The Park Service will also have rangers on duty to police the ban. Of access to an ocean. The government will probably use more personnel and spend more resources to attempt to close the ocean, than it would in its normal course of business. This is governing by temper-tantrum. The current government shutdown is a reminder of the dysfunction that afflicts
our political system in Washington. At issue is the Affordable Care
Act of 2010 (also known as Obamacare). The dispute between
Democrats and Republicans touches at the core of the philosophical disagreements
between the two Parties about the size and scope of government.
While much debate has been had about specific flaws in the Obamacare
legislation, there has been little discussion about the long-term costs of the
program.
Truth In Government has
prepared a memo (see below) which details the cost of Obamacare over a 75-year
period. The Affordable Care Act is projected to add around $17
trillion in liabilities to the federal government’s Medicaid liability—this is
due to the added costs as a result of the expansion of Medicaid enrollees that
the new law now makes eligible for benefits. At the same time,
combined liabilities for programs such as Medicare and Social Security are
estimated around $38 trillion. In all, when America’s long-term
entitlement and pension liabilities are properly accounted for, the federal
government’s national debt calculated under professional "accrual" accounting
principles easily exceeds $70 trillion. LINK

Of all the fraud perpetrated in the passage of Obamacare — and the fraud
has been epic — the lowest is President Obama’s latest talking point that the
Supreme Court has endorsed socialized medicine as constitutional. To the
contrary, the justices held the “Affordable” Care Act unconstitutional
as Obama presented it to the American people: namely, as a legitimate exercise
of Congress’s power to regulate interstate commerce. To
sustain this monstrosity, Chief Justice John Roberts had to shed his robes and
put on his legislator cap. He rewrote Obamacare as a tax — the thing the
president most indignantly promised Americans that Obamacare was not. And it is

ON THE PRIVATE INN closed by GOVT : Fed Closes Down Private

Victoria, We are back. There were many fewer people there than we
expected there to be; however, it was a vigorous exercise in First Amendment
Rights. The park rangers were generous and kind, but firm in what we could and
could not do. There were several discussions among them and many of us who
have serious issues with the abuse of power coming from the dictator in our
house in dc. There was a member of OATH KEEPERS there who got in their faces
about their not obeying the oath they swore to when they became park rangers.
There was one newspaper represented there, and at least two authors were present
--- PATRIOTS, ALL. (Well, I don't know about the newspaperman. He is a reporter
for the liberal Asheville Citizens Times. I told several of the Park Rangers
that we were (and many others are) praying for them and we asked them to pray
for us as well. We all agreed to do that. I handed out copies of "AGENDA:
Grinding America Down" as gifts to whomever wanted one. I made sure at least one
park ranger got a copy. I also handed out a book written by Christian writers
called GOD SPEAKS to those who wanted it. Surprisingly (or not), the Park
Rangers were pleased to have that book. It was a beautiful day. Many people
driving by on the BRP waved and honked and showed signs of support with "thumbs
up", etc. They seemed to truly appreciate seeing the AMERICAN FLAG flying in our
hands.
I believe the owner of the Pisgah Inn rode out in a golf cart to see the people gathered in protest. He said, "It is the best day of my life!" and he returned to the restaurant. We were told by the Park Rangers that we could stand in a certain area, but we could not come into the area of the restaurant or we would be cited. If we persisted, we would be arrested. This group was content to talk with the Rangers, to visit with one another and to stand publicly in protest. We left after being there an hour or an hour and one-half. We hear (we aren't sure) that there is to be another protest Tuesday of this coming week, but we are not sure about that. The most concerning thing to all of us there is that this could be done to OUR PROPERTY. We pay taxes. Taxes fund the parks. We pay the salaries. Of course, the one most concerned about this right now is the owner. You should call him up, Virginia, and let him tell you his concerns and his side. For me, I was so excited NOT to be arrested or hauled off somewhere. Although, that may come as there were photos taken of all of us during the process. You know me, I said loudly, "Hey, nsa, here we are! Did you get that?" Brought the house down. I think/hope/pray the event will have a positive --- for FREEDOM's side --- effect on the Park Rangers.
Thanks for getting the word out. We all must be praying and showing up. obama is the personification of evil. he is everything anti-AMERICAN. We must stand at every opportunity and "question with boldness." WE aren't "done" by a long shot. evil is afoot.

Record Numbers
in Poverty Under Obama
The median
income of American households dropped by $2,627 during President Barack Obama's
first term — and the number of people in poverty rose by about 6,667,000,
according to a new report from the Census Bureau. Some 46,496,000 Americans are
now in poverty, the highest number ever and a 16.73 percent increase from 2008
when Obama took office. Overall, 15 percent of Americans are considered to be
living in poverty, up from 13.2 percent in 2008. But the figures are much higher
for blacks and Hispanics — 27 percent of blacks and 25.6 percent of Hispanics
are living in poverty. The rate for non-Hispanic whites is 9.7 percent.
