1.  Marlin Stutzman: A Righteous Warrior
Congressman Marlin Stutzman of Indiana has been thrown off the House GOP’s whip team. His sin? Supporting limited government.

Stutzman becomes another conservative punished by House Republican leaders for standing up for his principles. Call Marlin Stutzman at (202) 225-4436 and tell him thank you.

He refused to support the farm bill. In fact, Stutzman, a farmer, became one of the leading opponents of the farm bill. With conservative opposition and Stutzman’s leadership, the House GOP had to scuttle passage of the farm bill and break it into two separate bills. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

2.  Obamacare and the GOP’s Negotiation Crisis
Should Congressional Republicans (1) fight to completely defund Obamacare, putting the brakes not only on its immediate implementation but also on any efforts to plan for its future implementation, (2) fight to delay implementation of the individual mandate and/or other provisions (following the Administration’s lead in delaying the employer mandate, or (3) leave the issue alone and focus on other elements of the budget? What tactics should the GOP use: should it hold up the next continuing resolution, creating the threat of a government shutdown? Tie it to the next debt ceiling fight? . . . please click here for the rest of the post

3.  The Ghoulish Glee Of The Gun Control Lobby
The bodies had hardly his the ground at Washington Navy Yard yesterday when the usual bunch of ghouls were using this tragedy as a cause célèbre to reinstitute an assault weapons ban and energize the flagging momentum of the gun control lobby.

This has become a trademark of the gun control fanatics. Anytime a gunman strikes, assuming that it doesn’t happen on a weekend night in a housing project in DC or Philadelphia or New York or Los Angeles or Chicago, it brings forth the same group of breast beaters bemoaning how our society can allow a free people to own firearms.

In this particular case, the pre-crafted press releases had results that would have been hilarious under less tragic circumstances. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

4.  Team McAuliffe Compares Ken Cuccinelli to George Wallace
Outraged over an entrepreneurial business PAC endorsing Ken Cuccinelli, Terry McAuliffe’s campaign trotted out Virginia Senate Minority Leader to compare Ken Cuccinelli to former Governor of Alabama and racist Democrat George Wallace. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

5.  National Republican Senatorial Committee Attacks Mitch McConnell as a Liberal
Amazing!

Today the National Republican Senatorial Conference — the organization that elects Republicans to the Senate — is attacking Mitch McConnell.

They are calling him a liberal for voting to raise the debt ceiling in 2011 and bailing out Wall Street. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

6.  Fighting the good fight against ObamaCare
This is no time to go wobbly, Republicans.  President Obama’s horrifying failure in Syria has left him dazed and adrift.  He shuffled onstage within hours of a deadly shooting rampage in D.C. to launch tone-deaf slashing partisan attacks on Republicans, leading even a number of mainstream media cheerleaders to nervously fumble with their pom-poms and wonder what the hell he was thinking.  I notice a few of them are muttering about how the blame-Bush stuff has passed its expiration date, too. . . . please click here for the rest of the post
