BJ3: Have reached the point that I really can't stand Rand Paul as is. NO COMPROMISE.  DItch it. Republicans were elected last time around because they guaranteed they would REPEAL IT...in toto. Now, he says they can't or such??? BULL. Why didn't he say that then?  Another PHONY.
In large and small ways the American economy is tanking—IBM is forced to kick 110,000 retirees off of their health care program—onto the government dole.  Target does the same to 10,000 workers.  ObamaCare is forcing hundreds of thousands of full time workers onto part time work—to save money for the employer.
Now a cigar manufacturer in Florida is shipping another 250 jobs out of our country.
“Swisher International will lay off 250 employees in Jacksonville as it moves some of its cigar-making production from the city to the Dominican Republic. The company, the world’s largest cigar maker, notified the employees on Friday that the layoffs will take place over the next 12 months.
The action follows 150 layoffs last year.”   LINK

Answer: $600, with $567 less in purchasing power for the hard-working taxpayer who is subsidizing it.
Smoke and mirrors make for bad policy. When we buy any type of insurance, we weigh the benefits of the policy against the loss of the money we must put out to purchase the policy. Bob,  Fascinating court action against the BBC by UK citizens for lying about 9/11. Interesting angle: In the UK, TV set owners are required to subsidize the BBC. MASSIVE WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION! ...a River of Cash Flows to DC
President Obama did not only give your money to losers in the energy field.  He gave your tax dollars to folks that wanted to build autos as well—though the Feds already stole Chrysler and General Motors for the extortionist unions.  Obama claimed that the now bankrupt firm was going to create 2,000 jobs—in Delaware—home of Joe Biden.
This was about payoffs and corruption—never about jobs.

Workers refused to show for work—not because they were ill, but because their union told them not to work.  Patients were harmed, the need of the community was harmed, but the union demanded those paying it bribes in order to work, not to work.
Now the UC hospitals are telling the workers—refuse you work you have quit.  Unions are upset that a hospital expects nurses to work when needed.

There is great irony on the Modesto Junior College campus.  On September 17 campus security stopped the distribution of the U.S. Constitution—because it was not distributed in a small area allowed on the campus.  9/17 is also U.S. Constitution Day—irony that a government school objected to students learning about the Constitution on the anniversary of the signing of the document.
Government schools are bastions of liberalism—so liberal the Constitution if allowed  to be shared—might cause the students to question Obama and the Democrats.
 ”Campus authorities told 25-year-old Robert Van Tuinen, who caught the whole thing on videotape, he could only pass out the free documents at a tiny designated spot on campus, and only then if he scheduled it several days in advance.”   LINK
