several weeks of town hall meetings in every corner of Louisiana, I’ve heard one
thing over and over: folks across the state think Obamacare is a train wreck and
they are concerned about the future of their health care. Become a

Some in
Washington, including those who wrote and passed the bill, are worried too. And

Two Republican senators say they’ll introduce legislation to
reverse the Obama administration’s rule change allowing the federal government
to contribute to Capitol Hill employee health insurance premiums.
Republicans have argued the rule change amounts to a “bailout” from ObamaCare
for a favored congressional class. Sens. David Vitter (La.) and Mike
Enzi (Wyo.) said they would offer legislation in September to reverse and modify
the rule change.
“If Obamacare is good enough for the American people, it should be good enough for Congress, the president and vice president, and other policy makers in Washington,” Enzi said in a joint statement. ObamaCare requires members of Congress and their staffs to sign up for the health insurance exchanges created by the law. The idea was to ensure that lawmakers and their staffs would be subject to ObamaCare. LINK

This past Friday, Federal
District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the United States District Court
for the District of Columbia, issued a preliminary injunction banning the
enforcement of the HHS Mandate in a lawsuit filed by The Thomas More Law Center
(TMLC), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
TMLC filed the lawsuit on behalf of two brothers, Shaun and Michael Willis, one
a Catholic and the other a Protestant, and their family-owned law firm, Willis
Law, located in Kalamazoo, MI.
