TENNESSEE - WAS THE ATTORNEY FOR THE DEFENDANT INTIMIDATED OR BOUGHT OFF?

Submitted by: Walter F Kirkpatrick

Zeb Blanchard was in Madisonville, TN on the morning of 20 April 2010. Mr. Blanchard is the author of Statement #5, a sworn statement.

Mr. Blanchard was among that group of people standing out in front of the "trailer park," General Sessions Courthouse.

Upon reading the email sent earlier today regarding The Witness List, Mr. Blanchard writes:

"This goes a little bit deeper than you have acknowledged.
Recall that I went to the first day of Darren's trial with the purpose of testifying.  I stopped Scott Greene in the hallway and explained why I was there but he said I was not needed and refused to let me testify.  What happens goes beyond
'no one being called' as in your case that day; I was there and asked to testify!
Greene was coerced or bought or both."

The first day of Mr. Huff's federal trial was 18 October 2011. Scott Greene was Mr. Huff's assigned defense attorney.

People who were eye witnesses, fact witnesses on the ground in Madisonville, TN on 20 April 2010 were willing and available to testify at Mr. Huff's October 2011 trial, but Scott Greene turned them away.

Fair winds, following seas,
