Rand Paul's New LEFTY Fan
Quote from article:   Rand Paul (email him here) used to get it. What happened?
What happened is: once a libertarian always a libertarian. Rand was speaking to his Paulbot base, who are ideology-bound open border nuts. (BTW, the libertarians in Europe -- like Nigel Farage and his UKIP -- are considerably less enthusiastic about open borders. They take their cue from Hayek instead of Von Mises). In so doing, he was hoping to drag along a few true conservatives who were still imbued with enthusiasm over his filbuster (which in my opinion was just smoke and mirrors to prep unsuspecting voters for this switcheroo. A classic bait and switch stratagem.
Rand and his followers are hopelessly ideology bound. Results are of no consequence to them. That is a fatal flaw.

Rand Paul's New Fan—SEIU's Eliseo Medina       By Allan Wall on March 23, 2013 at 10:58am
Rand Paul's recent speech to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce won him at least one fan - Eliseo Medina, Secretary-Treasurer of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), who had this to say:  LINK

From: Sher..........The tyranny is growing every day and still few-to-none who can will stop it. Revelation 13:4--"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"  I believe Islam is the beast and BHO is demanding to be the Beast-master...

Legal drugs kill more Americans than crack
We don't need dope, smack, crack, meth, heroin or any other street drug to kill ourselves, folks -- because LEGAL meds are doing the job just fine. Nearly 40,000 people were killed by drug overdoses in 2010 alone, and the vast majority of them -- nearly 60 percent -- were from prescription drugs. This wasn't some mass wave of suicides, either. Those accounted for just 17 percent of that total.
The rest -- the 83 percent -- were people just like you. People who went to the doctor's office for help, usually with pain, and walked out with a prescription for the drug that would ultimately kill them. Three quarters of the deaths involved opioid painkillers -- drugs given to seniors every single day, and often for conditions where they are unnecessary and downright ineffective. In 2009, 40 percent of all patients diagnosed with osteoarthritis were given
opioid painkillers. And just last year, a study found that 7 percent of seniors are given opioids after cataract surgery despite the fact that exactly NONE of them should get these meds.
And those are just two of the 1,000 or so conditions that'll get you started on your path toward addiction and death. Back pain, sports injuries, joint problems -- you name it, there's an opioid for that. As a result, the number of seniors on these drugs has shot up by a third over the last five years -- twice the rate of growth seen among people between the ages of 40 and 59. The problem with these drugs is that the more you take them, the less effective they become. So you need more... and more... and more... until you're a certified pill-popping junkie dying for your next fix -- dying in every sense of the word.
Don't let this happen to you or anyone you love. If you're battling pain -- especially chronic pain -- you won't find the answer at the bottom of a pill bottle. The real answer is right there in your body. What you really need is a physician skilled enough to find what's wrong and fix it naturally. If your own doc is unable -- or UNWILLING -- to do the job, find one who will. And if you still need more help with tackling that pain, our friends and affiliates over at Agora Health Books may have just the pain-relief solution you're seeking. To learn more about the hidden cause behind chronic pain...and the amazing natural breakthrough that could have you feeling great again in no time...

From: HSI  ExcerptWhy are they so afraid of labeling GMO foods?       Imagine you're at the supermarket stocking up on produce for a family meal. One variety of corn is certified organic and locally grown -- and the other has been proven to cause cancer in rats.    Which do you choose? It's a no-brainer right? And that's why some very powerful special interests are spending a fortune to ensure you never get to make that choice.
New Jersey is the latest state where battle lines are being drawn over food derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). A bill is currently before the state legislature that would force food companies to tell you when their products have been modified and pumped full of genetic material.    Biotech companies and billion-dollar food conglomerates are, of course, lining up to fight it. They say they have nothing to hide -- but why, then, are they working so hard to hide it?

Believe me, my friend; it sure isn't because they care about you and your well-being. Let's face it -- these groups understand that once you know which foods have been genetically modified there's no way in Hades you're going to buy them.
And that's good thinking on your part. Because there's still so much we don't know about the long-term health effects of these Franken foods -- but what we do know is terrifying. For example, a new report from the European Food Safety Authority has found that GMOs frequently contain a viral gene that has been shown to cause tumors in rats! This rogue gene has been found in everything from soybeans to corn.
The bottom line is you shouldn't trust these food and biotech companies any further than you could throw them. They're not looking out for you -- so it's time for you to look out for yourself. As we've told you before, all of your produce should be organic and locally grown.
There's nothing that affects our health more than the food we put in our mouths, so don't let GMOs get anywhere near yours. After all, we're learning more about these fake foods every day -- and almost all of it is bad news.

Even Federal Agencies Don’t use Post Office for Shipping/Use UPS & FedEX   Stephen Frank
I have always thought government agencies spend money as if they could print it.  Now we find out that even the Federal government doesn’t want to use the U.S. Post Office to send packages long distances.  Why?  The costs are too high and it is not reliable.  Isn’t it time to sell the Post Office?  Last year they ran a $16 billion deficit.
“The U.S. Postal Service is facing billions in debt and budget shortfalls and recently announced it would stop Saturday delivery as a way to save money.  Other federal agencies, however, aren’t helping their fellow department’s woes.  In fact, the Postal Service got just two percent of the money the federal government spent on shipping last year.
Many Americans have stopped using the U.S. Postal Service in favor of private carriers like UPS and FedEx.  And now, it seems, so has the federal government.
In fact, despite spending $337 million last year on shipping, federal agencies only gave the financially troubled Postal Service $4.8 million in business – less than two percent.”  See the full story by clicking on the blue headline
