WHY ARE WE PAYING COLLEGES FOR TEACHING PORN?

COLLEGES ARE ROBBING US BLIND

When parents send their kids off to college, they expect them to get an education that will help them find a good paying job so they can support themselves throughout life.  If that were true, then parents need to start worrying about their kids’ career choices.
The University of Illinois is a public university located in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana, an area in the east central part of the state in the heart of corn country.  The university has over 42,000 students and offers more than 150 different programs of study.
It seems that one group at the university is offering a different program that would cause many parents to frown and be on the phone calling their kids to see what’s going on.  One of the residence halls, Unit One, has invited a famous porn star,Annie Sprinkle to teach a week of sex education.  Sprinkle is also known for her documentary film Annie Sprinkle’s Amazing World of Orgasm.  The week long workshop will invite students to participate in the learning experience with their clothes on.  Topics of the workshop include a Free Sidewalk Sex Clinic, a talk detailing her porn career and a presentation on Eco-sexology.
Not to be outdone by the University of Illinois, North Carolina State University has its own porn event.  The Union Activities Board at NCSU, is hosting a Dirty Bingo event.  The described purpose of the event is to open up dialogue avenues on sexual health on the college campus.  The UAB spent several hundred dollars purchasing Dirty Bingo prizes that include:

“Butt plugs, an artificial vagina, vibrators, dildos, lubricant, edible underwear, a book on sex positions, and other items.”
Lauryn Collier, UAB President at NCSU, commented about the prizes, saying:
“The certified educators plan to use some of the items (those that are appropriate) to demonstrate healthy sex practices.”

At least there are some people with values at NCSU that are quite displeased with the Dirty Bingo event.  One student,Emma Benson, co-chair of Young Americans for Liberty commented:
“The fact that a public university is going to spend mandatory student fees on such an event is just repulsive.  There is nothing that involves reading 50 Shades of Grey or using a butt plug that promotes safe sex.”
Jason Cockrell, another student who also opposes the event said:
“I think that it’s patently obvious that this is not an appropriate use of student fees.  It doesn’t pertain to safer sex.”
Public universities receive a large part of their funding from state taxpayer funds.  I wonder how many of those taxpayers would be upset if they knew what their hard earned money is being used for.  I also wonder how many parents would be upset and concerned to find out what their kids are doing at college.
Like our country, our colleges and universities are becoming more like the biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and we all know what happened to them, don’t we?  If not, check out Genesis 19:23-29.
