URGENT: If passed, the Sportsmen's Act of 2012, S. 3525, will fix the "Toxic Substances Control Act" to stop the rabidly anti-gun Obama administration and any Executive Branch in the future from abusing the regulatory powers of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to infringe on the Second Amendment!
Right now, without this legislation EPA has assumed authority to regulate hunters and shooters out of their right to use traditional ammunition and anglers of their right to use fishing tackle – and we only have until the end of the lame-duck session to straighten them out!

We know the Obama administration is plotting behind the scenes with the anti-gunners to dismantle our gun rights one ban at a time – be it firearms or bullets – but now the Senate is ROLLING OVER and making it even easier for Holder and Obama to strip us of our Right to Keep and Bear Arms!
The "Toxic Substances Control Act," the one used by the anti-gun/eco-nut coalition in 2010 to justify their attempts to ban all traditional ammunition (yes, despite it explicitly being written to exempt ammunition), is being revived by the next iteration of the same old group – and its relentless promoters want to see if they can just sneak it through under Obama's watch. Despite it being ILLEGAL to do so, the delusional, extremist enviro-chondriacs still want a total ban on all ammunition containing lead-core components, including hunting and target shooting rounds.
Even fishing sinkers are not safe from Obama's green goonies.
But the Sportsmen's Act of 2012, which will stop the EPA from regulating us out of our gun rights, is running out of time during the final weeks of the 112th Congress, because the odds of it receiving floor time for a vote are not good unless YOU demand it!
With our Senators' cushy, largely undeserved and hugely unearned vacation recess only days away, we MUST take action right now and DEMAND a vote, or else lose this opportunity to block Barack Obama's anti-gun ploy empowering EPA minions to swoop in and cripple our Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) and Jeff Sessions (R-AL) went out of their way to reach an agreement on a budgeting issue used as an excuse for its first floor defeat by ten votes last month – If we can get this bill on the floor for a vote, in all likelihood, it will be passed in the Senate vote and then sail through the House!
The most effective thing YOU can do is bombard the Senate and the House to bring this bill up for a vote NOW IN THE LAME DUCK – and make sure it passes!
We MUST demand that OUR elected officials stand up for our Second Amendment rights – the rights they took an oath of office to protect! This is our last chance to stop the EPA/Obama disarmament scheme. If we fail to force our Senators and then the House to see reason and make this vote a SWIFT PRIORITY, and a SUCCESS for legal gun-owning Americans like yourself, our fight for our constitutional gun rights will only be longer, harder and more disadvantaged. We will be one Obama step closer to being completely eclipsed in our battle to Keep and Bear Arms by this administration's ever-growing power and influence among our legislative branch and governmental departments.

Under the Brady proposal, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder gets sole discretion to ban guns at will.
YOU READ THAT RIGHT! If Obama's gun ban lobby isn't stopped, Holder will soon be determining whether or not YOUR firearm is "particularly suitable" for sporting purposes!
As you may or may not remember, Eric Holder wrote a brief in the infamous Heller case supporting the position that you – or any other law-abiding American – have no right to possess a working firearm in your own home!
And now we have this bill which intends to ban ANY firearm ever obtained or ever used by federal officers or the military as not suitable, even for your personal collection!
This proposed gun ban list MUST BE STOPPED in its tracks!
Our Second Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms was not written by our Founding Fathers with a "sporting purpose" caveat or an asterisk mark to read the fine print. But that's not stopping the Obama administration and its anti-gun zealots trying to categorically dismantle our gun rights.
Just as Barack Obama's anti-gun politics are nothing new, it's no coincidence that this tyrannical administration is trying to strip away our one right that is the great bulwark of protection for We the People from tyranny! This new heinous gun ban list will be pushed through with a complicit attorney general and a president who hate and abhor liberty, our ability to legally defend ourselves and our families, and our devotion to upholding our constitutional rights. Obama and the gun-grabbing extremists want control, and if this gun ban list is not stopped, they will have it!
Our Right to Keep and Bear Arms is not only notbeing defended in Washington – it is under attack on Capitol Hill where Sen. Diane Feinstein is proposing a radical change that would ban thousands of firearms and ultimately require gun owners to hand them over to the federal government in what is being called "the most significant attack on the Second Amendment in history."
Obama, his loyalists on Capitol Hill and on K Street are united with the gun control lobby kooks, and they are NOT backing off!
If we fail to demand the full support of our elected representatives to stand up for our Second Amendment Right to Keep and Bear Arms, our guns will be gone and our other freedoms will follow!
Feinstein wants to reintroduce Clinton era gun control regulations that she cosponsored and had pass in 1994, and then she wants to go one step further.
According to one source, the banned items would include pistol grips and "high-capacity" magazines. The new ban would also eliminate any grandfathering of weapons and ban sales of "weapons in possession."
Feinstein first alluded to her renewed aggression against our gun rights at a Congressional budget meeting in September:
"Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to say, once again, in legislation, weapons of war do not belong on our streets…"
Combine Feinstein's gun ban efforts with her belief that firearms registration is the answer to preventing crimes like FAST & FURIOUS, and it's painfully obvious that the upcoming anti-gun campaign against our gun rights will be like nothing we've ever faced from Capitol Hill or the Oval Office.
Unless we dig in our heels right now, Feinstein and her rabid gun control legislation will pass the Leftwing, Democrat majority Senate. Barack Obama is the only ally she really needs to make it happen, and he's already on board…
No longer fearing "re-election," Barack Hussein Obama and his anti-gun lobby are moving TODAY to make disarming the American people and dismantling the Second Amendment a top priority of his second term.
Barack Obama is hellbent on remaking America into a European socialist state – or worse. His biggest fear at this pivotal moment in history is an America ready and able to fight back against the systemic dismantling of our Constitutional freedoms. We do not know how radical his "fundamental transformation" of our institutions of liberty will become; we cannot yet tell how redistributive and communistic our economy, one new hand-out and tax increase after another, will be.
But we can be certain that Obama does not want free Americans empowered against tyranny and illegal anti-Constitutionalism by virtue of their Second Amendment rights!
So the Obama administration is already gearing up to make gun ownership more difficult, more regulated, and more expensive with the end game of making our Right to Keep and Bear Arms overly burdensome, unaffordable and eventually impossible. Obama doesn't care whether this is done through an international treaty with the U.N., ratified or not by the leftwing Senate, or by issuing illicit orders straight from the Oval Office. The maneuvering at the U.N. to bring back the international gun ban treaty is back on the fast track TODAY! And domestic legislation for gun control, weapons and ammo bans are coming fast and furious!
Illegal, illicit, UNCONSTITUTIONAL – we know Obama will do whatever it takes to make sure that WE THE PEOPLE are disarmed.
If Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda is not stopped, our Right to Keep and Bear Arms as AMERICANS will exist only on paper. Our Second Amendment will be obliterated because the ability to exercise our Constitutional Right will be impossible.
Obama hates gun rights. Sure, Obama was politically compelled to sign a law to allow firearms in national parks. Yes, he claims to believe in the right to bear arms, but his record speaks for itself. In fact, Obama is a committed gun-grabber carrying water for the gun control lobby selling lies to the uninformed American people that gun control is in the best interest of public safety.
This is such an absurd claim that even millions of dollars of federally-funded (yes, your tax dollars hard at work) junk science at the National Institutes of Health has conclusively demonstrated that gun control advocates can't back it up – in fact, years of data review and case studies have proved just the opposite: gun ownership saves lives.
There is the blatantly obvious example of Obama's stomping grounds in Chicago. As of October 29, the total number of homicides reached 438, up 23 percent from last year DESPITE (because of!) some of the most stringent gun control laws in the country.
This was two months AFTER Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel rushed a new anti-gun ordinance into place using the completely irrelevant Colorado movie theatre massacre as an excuse to permanently bar anyone convicted of any felony from legally owning a firearm, while imposing a five-year ban on gun ownership for anyone convicted of a misdemeanor violent crime.
And then, in stark contrast, a new analysis conducted by Virginia Commonwealth University professor Thomas R. Baker has revealed that from 2006 to 2011, the total number of guns purchased in Virginia increased 73 percent, while the total number of gun-related violent crimes declined by 24 percent over the same period! Then adjusting for population growth, the number of gun crimes further decreases to 27 percent, with a meager 57 gun-related offenses per 100,000 in 2011 compared to 79 in 2006!
"While there is a wealth of academic literature attempting to demonstrate the relationship between guns and crime, a very simple and intuitive demonstration of the numbers seems to point away from the premise that more guns leads to more crime, at least in Virginia," said Baker. "So the only thing it could be is that more guns are causing less crime," Baker concluded, calling the data "pretty overwhelming."
It just gets better and better, doesn't it? The data substantiating the wisdom of the Founders in enshrining our Right to Keep and Bear Arms is "pretty overwhelming…" But, no matter the facts, the evidence or the science, the Obama administration and the Leftwing anti-gun lobby continue full steam ahead with their plans to dismantle the Second Amendment bit by bit to disarm the American people.
The data Baker collected from the Virginia Firearms Transaction Center, which tracks the number of gun transactions for every federally licensed firearms dealer in the state, demonstrated that an increase in gun purchases one year was followed by a corresponding decrease in gun crime the next year. The more guns, less crime correlation was so strong that didn't even matter which type of gun sales were being analyzed – whether the firearms were pistols, revolvers, shotguns or rifles – because the decline in gun-related crime continued!
The lies – the excuses for gun control – are just part of the Obama administration's and the hard-Left's hatred and targeting of our Right to Arms! At the national level, CBS Newsfound evidence that ATF officials involved in the "Fast and Furious" illegal gun-running scandal used the gun sales they oversaw as a pretext to call for gun control!
Our Founding Fathers knew 250 years ago that armed citizens were free citizens, not subjects.
George Mason warned America in 1788 that "to disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them."
Barack Obama doesn't have to be Campaigner-in-Chief anymore, and the gloves are off.
Within hours of Obama's re-election, the United States delegation at Obama's direction AGAIN threw its weight behind the United Nation's renewed efforts to pass their binding international gun grab.
U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.), one of our most stalwart, toughest allies when it comes to defending our Second Amendment rights, lost his bid for the U.S. Senate in the recent election.
This was a critical seat for standing against the United Nations' relaunched efforts to crush our Second Amendment, but we aren't giving up. With more Democrats in the U.S. Senate, the U.N. gun ban treaty threat has become all the more real – but so has our resolve to defeat it!
More than ever before, it's necessary for the future of this country that we cling to our guns and our Constitution.
