DOJ SUED...LOST AGAIN!

Submitted by: Donald Hank

Dear Friends,

After a two year battle Arizona's police officers can finally start enforcing their tough immigration law! The controversial section of the law - the "show me your papers" provision - was upheld this week by a federal judge.

The ruling clears the way for police to carry out the 2010 law's requirement that officers, while enforcing other laws, question the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally.

Just having the law on the books has already dramatically reduced the number of illegal immigrants in the state. Imagine what enforcing the law will do!

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to our friends in Arizona.  After years of watching the people in their state pay the enormous consequences of illegal immigration, a number of courageous Americans stepped up and said "No More"! Putting their own careers on the line, they passed one tough immigration law after another.

Patriots, like Russell Pearce, simply wouldn't give up until the job was done. And while the other side was able to knock Russell out of office they couldn't stop the great work he had put in place.

Congratulations Arizona for a job well done. America owes you a debt of gratitude.

Also I wanted to let you know that the Republican Party Platform is outstanding on immigration. If you didn't know better you would think I wrote it. It calls for an end to sanctuary cities and in-state tuition for illegal immigrants at public universities; rejects all amnesties; demands the federal government complete a fence along the Mexican border; and requires all U.S. businesses to use the government's E-Verify program to ensure that no illegal immigrants are hired. It is perfect!

There is even more good news when you see the quality of candidates Team America is supporting this election cycle. They are solid and bold!! Will send you the list first of the week and hope you will join me in doing everything you can to get them elected.

We've come a long way, Friend, but when you look at the additional articles I am sending with this email you will see we still have some distance to go before we are done. But I am not giving up and I hope I can count on you standing with me 'til the battle is won.

Warmest personal regards,

Tom Tancredo

TOP STORY:  "AZ Immigration Law"

The ruling Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton clears the way for police to carry out the 2010 law's requirement that officers, while enforcing other laws, question the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally.

The requirement has been at the center of a two-year legal battle that culminated in a U.S. Supreme Court decision in June upholding the requirement.
