For those who want further information about the topics covered in this blog, I recommend the following sites. I will add to this as I find additional good sources.

Worth Reading: China owes America billions. By Chet Nagle, Former CIA Agent
Excerpt: Neither President Obama nor Speaker John Boehner have said a word about the hundreds of billions of dollars that China owes America. Don’t they know about it? They arm-wrestle over the budget, the deficit and the debt ceiling, but they ignore a quick fix: get communist China to pay its debt to American citizens and the U.S. Treasury. What Chinese debt, you ask? (Chet Nagle is a reader/contributor to this blog, and the author of two excellent thrillers about terrorism, The Iran Covenant and The Woolsorter’s Plague. Thy are scary, but worth reading. He knows his stuff. Available on Amazon. ~Bob.)

Obama's Jewish Support Drops 22 Points in New York
Excerpt: President Obama's support among Jewish voters in the state of New York has dropped 22 percentage points in only a month, according to the results of a just released poll. The poll, conducted by Siena College, finds that currently President Obama has the support of 51 percent of Jewish voters, while 43 percent are opposed to him. Five percent are undecided. That means, Obama's lead among Jewish voters is at 8 percentage points.

USA Today Sob Story Over Jane Fonda’s “Haunting” By “Hateful Nickname” Hanoi Jane. By Debbie Schlussel
Excerpt: And she’s never apologized (despite pretending that she did). But apparently Susan Wloszcyna and/or her editors at USA Today’s fluffy “Life” section forgot. They are upset that Jane Fonda is “haunted by a 40-year-old photo” and “decades of enduring the hateful nickname ‘Hanoi Jane.’” (Poor, poor Jane, haunted by the nickname we gave her. Which she had worked long and hard to richly deserve. If it still gives her discomfort, I can only say.....GREAT!!! -- Del)

Gallup: Fractures in Obama's white support
Excerpt: As President Obama vies to secure his re-election this November, a new daily tracking poll from Gallup suggests his support among white voters has dropped five points since 2008 - with potentially significant consequences for his prospects this fall. (Play the race card too often....~Bob.)

State Department Pays $6,600 per Kindle for 2,500 Kindles
Excerpt: Yup, the State Department has awarded a $16.5 million contract to Amazon to stock designated libraries and U.S.-friendly educational centers around the world with 2,500 Kindle e-Readers, procurement databases show, according to Nextgov.com. The contract includes 50 titles, a secure central management system and round-the-clock help desk service.

Former Giffords aide Barber wins race to replace her in the House http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/house-races/232461-former-giffords-aide-wins-race-to-replace-her
Excerpt: Democrat Ron Barber defeated Republican Jesse Kelly in an emotionally charged and nationally watched special election to replace former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.). In what both candidates predicted would be an extremely close race, Barber finished 8 points ahead of Kelly, taking 53 percent of the vote to Kelly’s 45, with 66 percent of precincts reporting. The Associated Press called the race for Barber based on early results.

Excerpt: Many libertarians I know are devotees of science fiction. But I can’t recall any of them writing about what would really happen if we were visited by alien beings. My prediction: an encounter with aliens would put classical liberal political philosophy to a severe test. Indeed, anyone who basically believes in capitalism and freedom would find those beliefs challenged in a major way. The reason: I can’t think of any way to rapidly introduce massive technological change into our society without causing enormous, arbitrary impacts on peoples’ lives. Potentially, there would be instant winners and losers with vast differences between gains and the losses. Furthermore, each individual’s fate in this new world would probably have nothing to do with merit or demerit; but would be mainly due to random (undeserved) chance. As a result, I think there would be huge pressure to socialize the gains and losses from such cataclysmic change.

Obama campaign’s rough patch concerns some Democrats
Excerpt: Is it time for Democrats to panic? That’s what a growing number of party loyalists are wondering, amid a rough couple of weeks in which President Obama and his political operation have been buffeted by bad economic news, their own gaffes and signs that the presumed Republican nominee is gaining strength.

Senate primaries in four states set key matchups
Excerpt: Primary voters went to the polls Tuesday to finalize general-election matchups in some key contests that will help determine control of the Senate next year, including in Virginia, where Republicans chose former senator George Allen as their nominee.

Gadhafi is hero to NY House candidate
Excerpt: Charles Barron calls Robert Mugabe and Moammar Gadhafi his “heroes.” He compared Israel’s government to the Nazis, says he won’t salute the American flag, and once offered that he wanted to “slap” the nearest white person. And come January, he could be central Brooklyn’s newest congressman, if voters here give him an upset victory in the Democratic primary on June 26. (Dumb of him to say what most Democrats believe, but it might still get him elected in that district. ~Bob.)

How Much Does the Federal Government Owe?
Excerpt: The growing government debts of countries across the globe continue to dominate headlines. The United States' publicly held debt is expected to exceed 70 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) this year. However, the public debt is only one part of the federal government's total liabilities. For example, in addition to the public debt, federal civilian and military employees have accrued significant pension and other retirement benefits based on their employment in previous years. These obligations are already on the books and will be paid out in the future, say Liqun Liu, a research scientist at the Private Enterprise Research Center at Texas A&M University, and Andrew J. Rettenmaier and Thomas R. Saving, senior fellows with the National Center for Policy Analysis.

Auto Bailout Was Really Just a UAW Bailout
Excerpt: President Obama told the United Auto Workers (UAW) in February not to listen to critics of the auto bailout who said union members "made out like bandits—that saving the auto industry was just about paying back the unions." "Really?" Obama said. "I mean, even by the standards of this town [Washington], that's a load of you-know-what." New research from Heritage labor economist James Sherk proves that it was, in fact, a load of truth.

The administration’s special treatment of UAW cost taxpayers $26.5 billion. By Dustin Siggins
Excerpt: On Wednesday morning, The Heritage Foundation released a paper by Center for Data Analysis Senior Fellow James Sherk on the cost of the 2009 auto bailout. The Treasury Department estimates that the auto bailout will end up costing taxpayers $23 billion and, according to Sherk, all of those losses are the result of the Obama administration’s special treatment of the United Auto Workers (UAW) union. In the paper, Sherk pegs the eventual cost of that special treatment at $26.5 billion — $3.5 billion more than the auto bailout’s estimated net cost.

The Upside-down Land called America
Sadly true if you haven’t seen. ~Bob.

Dems call for fresh message, warn of 'impossible headwind'
Excerpt: President Barack Obama and his party may face an “impossible headwind in November” unless it shifts to a more forward-looking economic message aimed squarely at the middle class, three Democratic strategists warn in a memo out this week. Pollsters Stan Greenberg and Erica Seifert, of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, and Democratic strategist James Carville write in a research document for Democracy Corps that their party’s current frame for the 2012 race is not effective. Based on focus groups in Ohio and Pennsylvania, the strategists argue that voters are simply not convinced that the economy is on the move and it’s a mistake to try and tell them otherwise.

Did He Get the Memo? Obama Sticks to Script on Stump. By Devin Dwyer
Excerpt: As some high-profile Democrats question the focus of his pitch for a second term, President Obama today stuck closely to his well-worn script, telling a group of 500 donors here that the economy is moving in the right direction and that his policies will accelerate the recovery.

Obama: The GOP stuck me with the tab for a steak dinner. By Erika Johnsen
Excerpt: He. Cannot. Be. Serious. And yet, he is. … “Those of us who have spent time in the real world”: No. Spending your early adult life writing a memoir amongst the august circles of liberal academia before rocketing through the political ranks as a cool, hip young celebrity-politician does not make you more qualified on matters of the ostensible “real world” than a high-powered businessman turned state executive. In fact, one might even argue it makes you less qualified. Or, you know, not at all. Hence all of this lovely “on the job training” which you’ve so magnanimously bestowed upon us. (You know, the rough-and-tumble, boy-eats-dog world. –Jim Geraghty, NRO.)

Tweet from @Iowahawk
"Cars can never have too many cup holders. Government can never have too few Eric Holders."

Memo To Entrepreneurs: Obama's Just Not That Into You
Excerpt: Two studies suggest the "head winds" that President Obama says are holding back employers are of his own making. His policies have sidelined a key job creator: the entrepreneur. Historically, young startup firms have been a major job engine for the economy, particularly as the nation has emerged from recessions. But new federal data show the rate of business startups continues to fall in this recovery.

The S.S. Obama Is Leaking. By Rich Galen
Excerpt: The holes in the Obama Administration continue to show the greatest inherent problem to the President's re-election: These people are incompetent. At almost every level, in almost every issue the Obama Administration is barely keeping afloat. The recent leaks that Obama himself approves using drones to kill specific targets was first brought light in a New York Times piece: (Vell, if she sinks, ve vill surface and machine gun ze lifeboats! ~Bob.)

America's Greece. By Ben Shapiro
Excerpt: Here's the crazy thing: All of the governmental officials are Democrats. Reality has smashed the Golden State across the face with an iron fist. In fact, all of the measures that Democrats are taking in California will surely fail -- they're half-measures.

Taxpayers funding more than $1B in free cellphones
Excerpt: The money comes from the Federal Universal Service Charge on your phone bill. It has its roots all the way back in the 1930s. The goal was make sure people in rural areas and the poor had access to telephone service. In the 1980s and 90’s it expanded to include wireless phones.

Excerpt: When President Obama began pushing national health care legislation in 2009, he argued that reform was needed to rein in the unsustainable growth in health care spending that was crippling the budgets of businesses, states and the federal government. But a new government actuarial study finds that as a result of the law, health care spending will be $478 billion higher over the next decade than it would have otherwise been had no law been passed. (No, down. Down! You were supposed to bend the heath care cost curve down. ~Bob.)

Chinese Woman Seven Months Pregnant Beaten, Forcibly Aborted
Excerpt: A human rights group has learned that a woman was forcibly aborted at seven months of pregnancy on June 3 in Shanxi Province, China. Women’s Rights Without Frontiers informed LifeNews that a new report from the China-based human rights organization 64Tianwang indicates the woman, Feng Jianmei, was beaten and dragged into a vehicle by a group of family planning officials while her husband, Deng Jiyuan, was out working. (Well, it’s a progressive, socialist state, so you’d expect them to do Planned Parenthood right. ~Bob.)

Gun Ring Involving U.S. Soldier Is Broken Up, Chinese Officials Say
Excerpt: The Chinese authorities said on Tuesday that they had detained 23 suspects here and had broken up an international gun trafficking ring that conspired with a United States soldier to smuggle firearms into China. … Private gun ownership in China is highly restricted, with nearly all firearms in the hands of the state authorities. (Well, it’s a progressive, socialist state, so you’d expect them to do Gun Control right. Can’t have armed slaves. But isn’t this what Eric Holder did to Mexico? ~Bob.)

U.S. drone strikes kill suspected militants in Yemen
Excerpt: U.S. drone strikes targeted al Qaeda hideouts in southern Yemen on Wednesday, killing at least nine suspected militants, three senior security officials said. No senior al Qaeda leaders died in the attack in the Shabwa province town of Azzan, the officials said. The strikes' targets included a home suspected of harboring militants, the officials said.

Excerpt: It’s not exactly a death panel, but one Los Angeles hospital has apparently decided that the lives of marijuana users are not as valuable as the lives of others.
Legally smoking marijuana for medical reasons can get you taken off Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s transplant lists, The Huffington Post reports. (Don’t panic—recreational users are still okay. ~Bob

47% Think Leaks of Classified Information Will Hurt President’s Campaign
Excerpt: Most voters are concerned about recent leaks of classified security data to the news media, and a plurality believes those leaks will hurt President Obama’s reelection chances. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 73% of Likely U.S. Voters are at least somewhat concerned that the security leaks will compromise national security, with 40% who are Very Concerned.

Betrayal of the Montagnards: Obama and Clinton Betray Christian Montagnards
Watch video to see how the Obama Administration treats former allies. House Church Christians are brutally repressed in Vietnam and hundreds of Christian prisoners rot in Vietnam's gulags and the Obama administration doesn’t have the decency to mention them in their human rights reports. In fact for the FIRST TIME EVER - in 2012 the US State Department deleted ALL references to religious persecution in its Vietnam human rights reports, downplaying religious freedom and human rights in nothing but a cowardly display of betrayal. –Scott Johnson.

Iraq: wave of bomb attacks 'kill 84'
Excerpt: A wave of bombings across Iraq has killed 84 people and injured nearly 300 in the deadliest day in the country since US troops withdrew last year. (Muslims killing Muslims in the name of Allah. So many of them don’t know that “Islam is a religion of peace.” But as Mohammad said, "I have been made victorious through terror" Bukhari 4.52.220)

How Can a Non-Existent Entity Bailout Spain…Or Anyone Else For That Matter?
Excerpt: Spain’s Bailout is one big lie. I know, I know… Spain is “saved” thanks to a €100 billion bailout. But no one is asking just where this money will come from? The IMF isn’t involved. Nor is the ECB. (Making guns, ammo and canned foods are probably the best businesses to be in right now. But printing presses that can do money should be hot, too, at least until the collapse. ~Bob.)

Spain, Debt and Sovereignty. By George Friedman
Excerpt: There are two important aspects to this. First, yet another European financial problem has emerged requiring concerted action. Second, unlike previous incidents, this bailout was not accompanied by much melodrama, infighting or politically destabilizing threats. The Europeans have not solved the underlying problems that have led to these periodic crises, but they have now calibrated their management of the situation to minimize drama and thereby limit political fallout. The Spanish request for help without conditions, and the willingness of the Europeans to provide it, moves the European process to a new level. In a sense, it is a capitulation to the crisis.

Republican Surrenderists for Obamacare. By Michelle Malkin
Excerpt: During the summer of 2009, conservative activists turned up the heat on Democratic politicians to protest the innovation-destroying, liberty-usurping Obamacare mandate. In the summer of 2012, it's squishy Republican politicians who deserve the grassroots flames. In case you hadn't heard, even if the Supreme Court overturns the progressives' federal health care juggernaut, prominent GOP leaders vow to preserve its most "popular" provisions.

Obama’s ‘fine’ mess: He can’t admit his failure. By Jonah Goldberg
Excerpt: Listening to President Obama’s defenders spinning his claim that the “private sector is doing fine” reminded me of those kids and their dad, all afraid to admit everything’s not fine.

Excerpt: Some of the responses to my column last week, titled "Immoral Beyond Redemption," prove that Americans have been hoodwinked by Congress. Some readers protested my counting Social Security among government handout programs that can be described as Congress' taking what belongs to one American and giving to another, to whom it doesn't belong -- legalized theft. They argued that they worked for 45 years and paid into Social Security and that the money they now receive is theirs. These people have been duped and shouldn't be held totally accountable for such a belief. Let's look at it.

Complaint says California cap and trade racially biased.
Excerpt: A coalition of environmental justice and civil rights activists has filed a complaint alleging that cap-and-trade provisions in California's pioneering program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions discriminate against people of color. (I did not see this one coming... Turns out green program discriminates. Like taking $billions from the needy to subsidize $50,000 electric cars for elite wasn't? Take care – Chris)

Way Above Obama’s Pay Grade. By Burt Prelutsky
Excerpt: Depending on how you look at it, I am either blessed or cursed with one of those brains that attempts to make sense of whatever data is available. So, for instance, I ask myself why those liberals in Congress who aren’t wealthy enough to just pack up and live la dolce vita in Switzerland or Australia when their fiscal policies inevitably turn the U.S. into Greece don’t start facing up to reality. Why is it that they refuse to acknowledge that a nation can no more continue to spend twice as much as it takes in than an individual can?

The Obama Administration’s Genocide Denial. By Daniel Greenfield
Excerpt: Suppose that there was a country where Muslims were being massacred every month and mosques and imams were being targeted and destroyed. Could anyone imagine the Obama Administration choosing to remain silent in the face of such atrocities? … But a car bombing and shooting attack on two churches in Nigeria have not been similarly commented on by the State Department, sending the message that Muslim life is precious, but Christian life is cheap. The Muslim dead of Burma are sacred, but the Christian dead of Nigeria are only more dead infidels. (Caring about Christian dead gets you charged with Islamophobia by CAIR, which is as bad as Jesse Jackson calling you a racist to liberals. ~Bob.)

Bosnian Muslim preacher sings that America will be destroyed, "all the Muslims are now like the Taliban" and "with explosives on our chests we pave the way to Paradise"
Excerpt: Imagine, a Misunderstander of the Religion of Peace right in moderate, pro-American Bosnia. Clearly Bilal Bosnić must be a Serb fascist in disguise.

Muslim political scientist: Jews established neocon movement to destroy Islamic world through brute force and films like Superman, Tom and Jerry
Excerpt: Curses! Muhammad Waqi'ullah is on to us! "U.S.-Based Political Scientist Muhammad Waqi'ullah: The Neocon Movement, Established by Jews, Plans to Destroy the Islamic World by Brute Force and through 'Harmless' Films like Superman, Tom and Jerry," from MEMRI, June 4:

Religious Opposition to Polio Vaccination
Excerpt: As of 2009, polio remains endemic to 4 countries (India, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan); in 2008, cases were also detected in 14 other countries. Religious opposition by Muslim fundamentalists is a major factor in the failure of immunization programs against polio in Nigeria (2), Pakistan (3) and Afghanistan (4).

Obama’s ‘08 economic advantage disappears
Excerpt: Roughly four in 10 voters assess the economic proposals offered by President Obama and Mitt Romney favorably in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, a sharp contrast to the wide lead the incumbent enjoyed over John McCain on the issue in the 2008 presidential race. In the latest Post-ABC poll, 43 percent of voters express favorable opinions about Obama’s economic agenda, while 40 percent say the same of Romney.

Senate debates whether repealing sugar subsidy will harm consumers, job creation
Excerpt: Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) defended a federal sugar subsidy program Wednesday as the Senate considers a farm bill amendment repealing the system. The amendment, sponsored by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) phases out subsidies for crops like sugar beets and sugar cane over three years, from 2012 through 2014. (Sweet. Corporate welfare for Big Sugar. ~Bob.)

Cuban Payback. By Mary Anastasia O'grady
If you get a “Paywall,” try Googling the title. Excerpt: When an Afro-Cuban objects to that narrative, it makes the regime look bad, and that upsets the masters of the island slave plantation. Rage generally follows. Just ask long-time Cuban dissident Jorge Luis Garcia Perez, who this week was arrested for just such a "crime." (Will Obama say that Perez might look like his son? Will Michael Moore make a documentary? No? Why not? ~Bob.)

WI: Dem spokesman makes news — and not in a good way. By Kirsten Adshead
Excerpt: After barring Wisconsin Reporter writer Ryan Ekvall from the party’s convention Friday, Zielinski was the star of a column by The Capital Times’ Jack Craver on Monday titled “Combative Dem spokesman Graeme Zielinski pushes the envelope.”

Solyndra Was An Even Bigger Failure Than First Reported
Excerpt: It turns out the $535M taxpayer-funded disaster that is Solyndra was an even bigger flop than initially reported. It has been widely stated that the demise of the company resulted in the loss of 1100 jobs, but new information reveals the jobs losses were even greater than that. (Your tax dollars at work reelecting Obama. ~Bob.)

Study: Liberal Anti-Mormonism On The Rise: The left have turned against the faith since 2008, according to a new study, spurred by Romney and same-sex marriage.
Excerpts: Americans' aversion to voting for Mormons has spiked since Mitt Romney's first presidential bid in 2007 — and that the people most wary of Mormon candidates are not Evangelicals, but rather political liberals and non-religious voters, according to new research from a leading scholar of anti-Mormon attitudes. (If Mormons were hanging gays, throwing acid on schoolgirls, honor killing their children, executing apostates, mutilating the genitals of little girls and stoning rape victims for “adultery,” these multicultural progressive bigots would love them. ~Bob.)

New York Times V. Obama. By Dick Morris
Excerpt: Both can't be telling the truth. One is lying. The New York Times says that the national-security leaks that exposed our cyber-war against Iran and how our drone strikes against terrorists operate came from "aides" to the president and "members of the president's national security team who were in the [White House Situation Room]" during key discussions, as well as current American officials involved with the program who spoke anonymously because "the effort remains highly classified."

Idiocy Is Not To Be Answered With Further Idiocy
excerpt: I mean, it's not like the consequences of this on an arithmetic basis weren't known to everyone. Stable economic conditions require that you not do that, or if you do allow it that the people who do it (1) can't counterfeit the sovereign's currency and (2) can't become so intertwined in the financing of governments and major economic centers that their failure becomes an existential threat to your existence. (Ultimately, Europeans need less "Europe" and more sovereignty. There is might in unity IF the unity is voluntary. But the EU is a dictatorship. According to statements made by the earliest founders, it was intended to be built on stealth, or bait-and-switch--tell the suckers one thing, give them another. The chickens are coming home to roost. --Don Hank)

Israeli police crackdown on illegal aliens
Excerpt: While the problem of illegal aliens and border security in the United States continues to be a divisive issue, Israel's immigration authorities have taken the proverbial "bull by the horns" and continued an arrest campaign for a second day against the illegal aliens living in the Jewish state, according to the Law Enforcement Examiner's police source in Israel. (Probably don’t let them vote, either. You know those Jews—more intent on survival than being PC. ~Bob.)

The ‘international justice’ delusion. By Benny Avni
Excerpt: It may even include the “nuclear option”: referring suspected Syrian war criminals for trial in The Hague. Yes, our side is talking about carrying a plastic spoon to a gun fight. The only thing that matches the faith we invest in the nascent international justice system is that system’s futility.

NBC Nightly News Devotes Mere Seconds to First-Ever Mention of Fast and Furious. By Mary Chastain
Excerpt: In the eighteen months since the Operation Fast & Furious investigation began, Brian Williams and NBC Nightly News have never mentioned the Department of Justice's gunwalking controversy. Every single time Mr. Holder has testified or a major development happened, NBC Nightly News ignored it. Tonight, in their first mention of the scandal--ever--NBC Nightly News and Brian Williams distorted Attorney General Eric Holder’s testimony.

Excerpt: Attorney General Eric Holder has refused to provide written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee in response to "questions for the record" submitted to him by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R.-Ala.) that focus on Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan's involvement in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act--AKA Obamacare--while she was President Barack Obama's solicitor general.

Moving On from MoveOn.org: The liberal group’s PAC is on pace to have its worst cycle since its founding. By Jim Geraghty
Excerpt: The fundraising messages from MoveOn.org’s political-action fund are taking an increasingly pessimistic and frantic tone. A recent message declared, “If we can’t increase our budget, we’re going to have to pull the plug now on some absolutely crucial campaigns.” (If you can stomach sending them five bucks by mail—not online—they will waste ten times that mailing you solicitations for more, I think. ~Bob.)

Excerpt: Securitygate has Nixonian trademarks all over it and is far more injurious to the republic than all the previous Obama administration–era scandals combined.

‘Digital Bill of Rights’ gets positive reception from entertainment industry. By Josh Peterson
Excerpt: A newly introduced “Digital Bill of Rights” seeks to safeguard the rights of digital citizens, a move greeted positively by representatives from the entertainment industry. The bill, still in draft form, was proposed by California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa and Oregon Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden during the Personal Democracy Forum Monday….Issa emphasized on his KeepTheWebOpen.com website that the Digital Bill of Rights was about protecting digital citizens from lawmakers who understand little about the Internet, in the same way that the Bill of Rights protects citizens from government tyranny…

Grassley wants ‘somebody’s scalp’ over Fast and Furious. By Matthew Boyle
Excerpt: Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking GOP Member Chuck Grassley said Tuesday evening that he wants “somebody’s scalp” over Operation Fast and Furious — and he stopped just short of joining his congressional colleagues demanding Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation…During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday morning, Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn made waves by demanding Holder’s resignation to his face…

AFF Releases Online Ad “Fast and Furious”
Excerpt: Obama and his administration continue to deny any knowledge or take responsibility. Under oath, Attorney General Eric Holder said he had known nothing about Fast and Furious until a few weeks prior to his testimony. But Justice Department documents reveal that Holder had, in fact, known of the operation for more than a year….
