RALLY IN D.C. 3/27/2012 - HANDS OFF MY HEALTH CARE

Dear Conservatives,
March 23rd, 2012, marks an important and unfortunate anniversary. It will have been exactly two years since President Obama forced his unpopular health care takeover onto the American people. Americans for Prosperity has educated the public about the dangers of government interference in the health care market for the past several years, and now the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments and make a ruling on that very issue.
On March 26th-28th, the U.S. Supreme Court will be considering the constitutionality of several elements of the President's health care bill. This may be our best chance this year to overturn this offense against our health care freedoms. That's why Americans for Prosperity will be hosting a Hands Off My Health Care rally for free-market grassroots activists from across the country at the Supreme Court on March 27th. Details can be found below.

Hands Off My Health Care Rally

The United States Supreme Court, Washington, D.C.
March 27th at 1:00PM
Over the past few years, Americans for Prosperity has worked with coalition groups and activists like you to educate the public on the dangers of the President's health care bill. AFP's Hands Off My Health Care Tour criss-crossed the nation in 2009 hosting over 300 events and rallies. Then, in late 2009, over 5,000 activists gathered for AFP's Code Red Rally in Washington.
We must remind the Court and all of Washington that the President's health care takeover is an affront to free-market principles and our Constitution. Not only is the individual mandate unconstitutional, but it forces consumers to enter the health insurance market against their will. Click here to read more about the individual mandate.

Sincerely,
Tim Phillips
President, Americans for Prosperity
P.S. A year ago, I stood with AFP and Tea Party activists in Richmond as the lower court considered the case. In Atlanta, our activists held Hands Off My Health Care signs outside the federal court house. Now, we've got to finish the job before the Supreme Court.
