OBAMA AND OCCUPY WALL STREET – REELECT HIM AND YOU GET THEM

In the 1992 campaign, Hillary Clinton was given to cavorting about the stage at campaign events telling audiences: “Vote for him (Bill) and you get me! It’s a two-fer!”

The most radical president in history and the most radical political movement since the ‘60s are also like shampoo and conditioner packaged together. Reelect Barack Obama and you’ll get the Occupy Wall Street Movement.

President Obama is OWS in a suit, with an expensive haircut. The socialist slobs who’ve occupied public places around the country and the ideologue who occupies the White House are soul mates joined at the agenda.

You probably didn’t know that right-to-lifers are tools of Wall Street bankers. Neither did they. But at recent pro-life observances in Washington, D.C and Providence, the vanguard of the “99%” threw boxes of condoms at Catholic school girls. Additionally, in the Rhode Island capital they screamed and blew whistles to keep a priest from offering an invocation.

Our president isn’t nearly as crude. Instead of throwing condoms at Catholics, through HHS regulations, he’s going to force Catholic charities, schools and hospitals to provide contraceptives to employees, contravening Church doctrine.

In the past week, Occupy Oakland showed its true colors – red, with a black swastika in a white circle. Enraged by the city’s refusal to let them use the Kaiser Convention Center as a “permanent headquarters,” the leftist storm-troopers assaulted police with rocks and bottles, broke into city hall and committed various acts of vandalism, including cutting electrical wires and burning an American flag.

As Old Glory burned, one protestor was caught on camera reciting the following: “I pledge allegiance to the imperialistic, capitalistic, dictatorship. And to the plutocracy for which it stands, privately owned central bank, under the Jews, with inequality and injustice for the 99 (percent).”

The Reverend Jeremiah (“G-d damn America!”) Wright, who schooled the president in the left’s version of Christianity, concurs.

In a January 8th posting on his website, Wright wrote: “Because of the greed of the 1 percent, the other 99 percent of the population have been reduced to working for lower wages… the unchecked greed of the capitalist elite (symbolized by the banks) impoverishes the majority of people and undermines our democracy.” Given the Rev. Jeremiah’s own obsession with “Zionists,” I’m surprised the central-bank-under-the Jews pledge didn’t also make it on his website.

More than 400 were arrested in the latest Oakland orgy. Criminality (trespass, vandalism, assault and drug use) have been part of OWS from its September 17 debut. On November 22, 4,049 were arrested in a confrontation with police during a march across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Ah, youthful exuberance. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called Occupiers “young,” “spontaneous,” and “focused” – on crackpot conspiracy theories, mayhem and Marxism.

Appreciation for the infantile leftists runs deep in the Democratic Party and among progressives generally. Former DNC Chairman Howard Dean confesses, “I’m glad to see all these young people on Wall Street.” Congressman Keith Ellison (who took the oath of office on a Koran) argues, “Occupy Wall Street’s anger is justified.” Vice President Joe Biden explained the movement’s impetus – “The American people do not think the system is fair or on the level.”

In November, Van Jones, Obama’s former Green Jobs Czar and a “911 Truther” and self-described “revolutionary,” warned, “You haven’t seen anything yet.”

The president started by saying he “understand(s) the frustrations that are being expressed" by OWS. Later, he told Occupiers in New Hampshire, “You are the reason I ran for office.’ Was this ever in doubt?

Like Obama himself, Occupy Wall Street is also supported by Ex-Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers, Soros-funded MoveOn.Org, organized labor – and the Communist Party USA, which dubbed the OWS gang “courageous, young people” fighting “racism,” “imperialism” and other evil isms.

Like Obama, the reality of Occupy Wall Street is light-years away from the hype. No, they’re not youthful idealists – Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney in a Hollywood musical: “Hey kids, let’s put on a political show!”

What do Occupiers want? (Cue “The Internationale.”) They see America as “ruthless,” driven by a predatory culture which “always minimizes costs and maximizes profits,” where “growth for the sake of growth is the ideal.” All of which results in “lives” treated like “commodities to be bought and sold on the open market” and “economic inequality that is foreclosing our future.”

OWS guru Kalle Lasn calls it the “dog-eat-dog world of capitalism,” unlike those cuddly places where profits, growth for the sake of growth and income inequality have been banished – such as Cuba and North Korea, whose starving masses count themselves lucky if they have dogs to eat.

Postings on the OWS site demand a 6-hour work day, a moratorium on foreclosures and layoffs, retirement at 55 with full Social Security benefits, taxing the “very rich” up to 90% of their income, factory workers electing their supervisors, “forgiveness” of student loans, an $18-an-hour minimum wage, and the heavens opening and raining pistachio ice cream on the kiddies.

In October, 2011, “New York” magazine published the results of a survey of 100 hardcore OWS protestors in Manhattan.

Almost half (45%) said capitalism is “inherently immoral” and “can’t be saved.” In a similar survey, 65% said government has a responsibility to provide health care, a college education and a secure retirement – regardless of the cost. According to 77%, this should be paid for with additional taxes on the rich.

While 98% support civil disobedience, a significant 31% believe violence is justified when perpetrated in the name of the people. Obama hinted at the same in his Osawatomie speech, when he praised John Brown’s “willingness to spill blood (in Kansas) and not just words in behalf of his visions, that helped force the issue” of slavery.

In another survey based on 198 face-to-face interviews conducted in Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park in the first month of the occupation, 74% said they voted for the Great Community Organizer in 2008, (Shocker!), while 48% said they’d do so again and another 27% said that (while clearly disappointed by Obama’s failure to abolish the Constitution, private property and the law of cause and effect), they might support him when he ran for reelection. Clearly, OWS is Obama country.

The president is the movement’s godfather. Like OWSers, Obama is constantly ragging on “millionaires and billionaires,” "corporate jet owners" and “bankers on Wall Street” out to downsize the American dream.

You’d think they’d forced lenders to give highly-leveraged mortgages to high-risk borrowers (creating a house-of-cards waiting for a seismic shift), ran up the national debt more than 50%, and increased the price of gas at the pump almost 100% since January 21, 2009.

The “same folks whose irresponsible actions got us into the mess we’re in,” are now “trying to fight efforts to crack down on abusive practices” of lenders and investors, Obama warns. “The free market has never been a license to take whatever you can from whomever you can,” the president thunders, implying that for greedy capitalists (a redundancy in Obama’s mind) the free market has been just such an excuse for pillage.

And the president’s intimate knowledge of the workings of the marketplace is based on what – hearsay? “Occupy a desk,” a Wall Street worker growled at Occupiers as he crossed a picket line last fall. When did Obama last sit behind a desk in a for-profit business?

As a result of the machinations of these malefactors of corporate-jetism, “millions of working families in this country… are now forced to take their children to food banks for a decent meal,” the president bloviated at a recent appearance. The scruffy sluggard holding a “Capitalism = Systematic Exploitation” sign at an OWS encampment has nothing on the President of the United States.

Like the Occupiers, the presidential wealth-spreader has no shortage of ideas to radically transform America. After nationalizing two of the Big Three automakers and the health care industry (one-fifth of the economy), the president wants tighter regulation of banks and $10 billion in underwater mortgages, owned by 3.5 million homeowners, refinanced by the FHA, following his success at federalizing student loans.

And then there’s the rich – the parasitical rich, the “irresponsible rich,” the rich who aren’t paying their “fair share.” Like the 77% of Occupiers who want to soak the wealthy, Obama wants to pour ice water over the nation’s most productive citizens.

The president knows that the top 1% of income earners already pay 38% of all federal taxes. What’s fair - total confiscation? But if you took all of the wealth of the much-maligned 1% (about $938 billion), it would run the federal government for roughly three months. Then what?

Then Obama would continue to shift the blame for Democrat policies to Wall Street, big banks and the 1%. And then the OWS goons would burn down the National Archives Building, with its plutocratic Constitution and Declaration of Independence. And then Obama would be reelected. And then: Utopia here we come.

The president and the protestors are alike in other ways. Obama too is a criminal who regularly violates his oath of office and the Constitution (example: his “recess appointments while Congress was in session).

Both have a virulent hatred of Israel. The executive director of the Arab-American Action Network told a cheering crowd of Chicago Occupiers, “Israel is beginning to be seen as the criminal pariah state that it is.” When they staged a sit-in at the Israeli Consulate in Boston last November, OWS protestors chanted “Hey Hey, Ho Ho! Israeli apartheid’s got to go.”

Each is, at the least, willing to tolerate anti-Semitism.

OWS has done nothing to dissociate itself from the most blatant Jew hatred in its midst, like Los Angeles protestor Patricia McAllister, then an employee of the L.A. Unified School District, who told an interviewer that “Zionist Jews … are running these big banks and the Federal Reserve.” It’s surprising that they don’t distribute “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” at Occupy events.

About the time McAllister was exposing Jewish control of the financial sector, Howard Gutman, Obama’s creepy ambassador to Belgium, explained to a conference that the Jews had no one but themselves to blame for the violence directed at them in Europe, because of “tensions between Israel and the Palestinian territories.” This sounded eerily like Nazi apologists blaming Kristallnacht on the Jews’ “disproportionate influence” on German society.

I am not suggesting that Occupiers will occupy cabinet posts in a second Obama administration. The president isn’t that obvious. Besides, he’d need a much better ventilation system in the Cabinet Room.

But on a host of issues – economic, foreign policy, social – it’s their ideology which will drive Obama’s second term, when he’ll have nothing to lose.

They are his constituency, his conscience, his alter ego. What Sarah Palin is to the Tea Parties, Barrack Hussein Obama is to Occupy Wall Street.
