COLORADO LIBERALS CONTINUE THEIR PUSH TO HAVE TAXPAYERS PAY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS' EDUCATION

CO LAWMAKERS INTRODUCE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT TUITION BILL A SIXTH TIME

Five previous attempts made by leftwing Colorado lawmakers have failed to push through a bill granting in-state tuition to illegal immigrants who graduated from state high schools – but that’s not good enough for them.

Just yesterday, state Senator Michael Johnston of Denver introduced the bill for the sixth time hoping some modifications will make the legislation more appealing to conservatives.

The main difference this time around is that the bill would give colleges the option to opt-out of giving illegal immigrants in-state tuition.  Supporters of the bill argue that out-of-state tuition rates can be three times more expensive acting as a roadblock to higher education for illegal immigrants.

Conservatives argue that the bill rewards illegal immigrants at the expense of taxpayers.
