STOP THE VOTER FRAUD IN NEVADA -GOP PROVIDES INFORMATION

Together We Can Stop Approval of R111 & R124
We don't want to make it easier for those who desire to undermine fair elections to commit voter fraud here in Nevada!

On Friday, December 23rd, the Secretary of State (SOS) held a public hearing on the proposed Regulations R111-11 and R124-11. There were over 80 in attendance and all were opposed to the regulations. While the SOS had made a few corrections on what were considered “clerical errors,” there are still many provisions remaining that undermine Nevada’s already very weak election laws.

At the end of the meeting, the hearing officer announced that the regulations as written would be approved as of 3:00 p.m. on that day.  Although it was pointed out that some of the provisions still undermine our election laws, it was still approved. About twenty people in attendance had testified against the enactment of the regulations.

WE CAN"T ALLOW the status quo. The next step in the process is for the SOS to submit the proposed regulations to the Legislative Commission’s Subcommittee to Review Regulations.  If this subcommittee, which is made up of four Democrats and two Republicans, approves the regulations, they will be enacted, and Nevada will have even more voter fraud than was experienced in the 2010 general election.  We need your help now!

WE MUST continue our efforts to stop the approval of these regulations. We need you to:

1)  Send an email to every member of the full Legislative Commission (below are the email addresses and a draft email), and
2)  Attend the meeting of the Subcommittee to Review Regulations, which will be held in Room 4401 of the Grant Sawyer Building, 555 East Washington Avenue in Las Vegas.  The meeting has been called for 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29th.  We must have another great turnout to let this subcommittee see how many people are opposed to these regulations.

ACT NOW- Below is the suggested email (please put it in your own words) to send to all the legislators at bottom of page who are members of the full Legislative Commission (members who are on the Subcommittee to Review Regulations have (SRR) after their name)

In the “Subject Line” please state “Disapprove R111 & R124.”

During this holiday season the Secretary of State is attempting to pass legislation that he calls housekeeping rules but which, in fact, makes it much easier for those who desire to undermine fair elections to commit voter fraud here in Nevada.  The Sections of R111-11 and R124-11 that weaken our election laws have been pointed out to the SOS at hearings on Dec. 12 and Dec 23.  A few changes were made but several sections that enable voter fraud were not modified.

I am asking the full Legislative Commission, not just your Subcommittee to Review Regulations, to hear these regulations and to not approve them.  These changes are so important that they should be held until the next full legislative session in 2013.  If the Legislative Commission allows only the Subcommittee to hear these regulations I am asking that Subcommittee to not allow the regulations to be enacted.  I believe that all fair minded legislators support the Nevada Voters’ Bill of Rights and desire to have Nevada elections which are fair and where legal Nevada voters do not have their vote canceled by those who vote fraudulently.

I thank you in advance for you acting to protect our election process.

(End with you name and contact information).
