Our sources on Capitol Hill say that the Liberty
Counsel Action fax barrage is having a significant
impact! We have already flooded the Senate Judiciary
Committee members with over fifty thousand faxes urging
that they kill Senator Dianne Feinstein's so-called
"Respect for Marriage Act of 2011." But we must not let
up now - the countdown is on! See my urgent message

Conservatives,
After the Senate Judiciary Committee considered the
deliberately misnamed "Respect for Marriage Act of 2011"
(designated S.598) yesterday, the committee decided to push
the vote forward into next week.
This is a real God-send for pro-family Americans because it
gives us several more days to intensify the pressure on the
Judiciary Committee and possibly even keep this outrageous
bill off the Senate floor.
But even if it comes out of committee, we will have gained
additional momentum for the ensuing floor battle! I believe
that Senator Feinstein and her ultraliberal supporters are
shocked by how much opposition there is to what should have
been called the "DIS-respect for Marriage Act of 2011."
Our sources tell us that the eighteen committee
members are being deluged in emails, faxes, and phone
calls from pro-family Americans who see right through
Senator Feinstein's deceptively named bill. And
Liberty Counsel Action is leading the way with our
powerful Fax Barrage!
The Liberty Counsel Action team has already flooded the Senate
with tens of thousands of faxes in the first three days of this
campaign! Now, we have time to capitalize on this great start
and really turn up the heat!
I believe that by the time the 18 committee members vote next
week, we could be responsible for flooding the Senate with a
literal tsunami of faxes - and possibly kill this outrageous
bill in committee before it can reach the Senate floor!
S. 598's stated purpose is "To repeal the Defense of
Marriage Act and ensure respect for State regulation
of marriage." This convoluted abuse of language is
designed for just one purpose - to sneak a devastating
attack on marriage through Congress under a cloud of
deception.
++Anti-family liberals are on defense!
Our sources in D.C. also tell me that liberal senators are
hoping to buy time to generate more press coverage in support
of this disastrous bill. Watch for so-called "marriage
equality" rallies to spring up to give anti-family congressmen
cover for their pro-homosexual votes. But I believe their
efforts will be "too little, too late"!
For our part, we must continue to press the Senate Judiciary
Committee - composed of 10 Democrats and 8 Republicans - up
to the last possible moment. Pro-family Americans must NOT
be silenced on this bedrock issue! We will fight this bill
every inch of the way!
++The Senate's fax machines keep working on the weekends,
and so do ours!
Let's greet our Senators with at least 20,000 more faxes on
Monday and force them to take account of our massive pro-
