The Mississippi Personhood Amendment will be the catalyst to enacting Personhood laws across the country and setting up “an impossible case” for the abortion industry to defeat!
Because of the incredible sacrifices of the volunteers and the tremendous blessings of the Lord, this very question of the personhood of preborn babies will appear on the November 8th, General Election ballot in Mississippi – one of the most pro-life states in America!
But to pass this landmark Amendment, we need your help too!
After gathering over 135,000 signatures, the Mississippi Personhood Amendment will be only the 4th question ever qualified for the Mississippi ballot since the state began allowing for citizen initiatives in 1992! When passed, it will make abortion unconstitutional under the laws of Mississippi.
Amendment 26 will provide protections for the 3,000 innocent children killed every year in Mississippi and fill the hole left by Justice Blackmun in the Roe v. Wade decision when he wrote, “If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case [for abortion], of course, collapses, for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the [fourteenth] Amendment.”
Here’s the good news: 78% of the electorate identifies as pro-life and votes pro-life.
The troubling news is that the electorate does not know Amendment 26 is the most pro-life measure in the history of the state, and because of this, many are vulnerable to the lies and confusion of our enemies, Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.

This opposition coalition has registered a group with the state called “Mississippi for Healthy Families,” and I know they are planning to fight this amendment with everything they have.
Their tactics have not changed: lie, confuse and scare the voters.
The “No on 26” campaign is funded by Planned Parenthood whose Regional Director is the Treasurer for the new group. There is no doubt that they will flood Mississippi with blood money to ensure that it continues to flow into their coffers.
Here’s the great news: the broad-based Yes on 26 coalition is “giving it everything we’ve got!” We are blessed to have Mississippi Lt Gov. Phil Bryant and Dr. Don Wildmon, Founder of American Family Association, co-chairing the coalition.
Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood has not only endorsed 26 but he is also committed to strenuously defending the law in court if challenged!
The Yes on 26 coalition has already invested $1.3 million through cash and in-kind contributions. The entire American Family Radio Network – all 24 stations in Mississippi -- is dedicated to promoting the measure. And three-quarters of all political candidates in the state – both Republican and Democrat -- have endorsed Amendment 26!
However, it’s necessary that we spend AT LEAST another $1.5 million in the next 6 weeks to help educate the public, combat Planned Parenthood’s lies, and pass Amendment 26. The funds will be used to pay for these critical television spots, additional radio ads, billboards, and an unprecedented GOTV effort.
As of today, the opposition has not purchased a minute of airtime for TV advertising, so we have an opportunity to be first in shaping the message – every human being is a person, and every person has a right to live!
The world is watching – literally. We must do everything we can right now before opportunity to save the innocent from the abortionist’s knife evaporates.

Yes, Justice White, it is THE factor. The Roe Court chose to ignore that preborn children are endowed by their Creator with the unalienable right to life. Mississippi and Personhood USA intend to rectify this atrocious error.
If we stand with the people of Mississippi, they will pass Amendment 26. And -- like the Supreme Court admonished us to do almost 40 years ago in Roe v. Wade – they will recognize the rights of every human being, end abortion, and proclaim an enormous victory for the preborn!
