My desire to seek public office comes from my belief in public service. Like never before, our state needs people with strong conservative values and real world experience in creating jobs and making payroll to step up and provide solutions to Nevada's problems. As a passionate conservative and a small business owner who has created more than 1000 jobs over the last 8 years, I am excited to bring those skills to Assembly District 4.

"I had intended to run for Senate District 18 to ensure that the voters in that district had a true conservative choice on the ballot, but after meeting with Assemblyman Richard McArthur-a proven conservative stalwart in the Assembly-and hearing of his plans to take his proven conservative voting record to the State Senate, I decided that I could best serve the citizens of Nevada in the Assembly. I am honored to have Richard's support and endorsement as I enter the race to succeed him in Assembly District 4. I am also proud to endorse and support Richard as he enters the race for Senate District 18.

My decision to enter the Assembly District 4 race has received overwhelming support, and I look forward to announcing more endorsements over the next few days as my campaign moves into high gear. I believe Nevada Republicans have the opportunity to makeup ground this year in both the Senate and Assembly, and it makes sense to work together to make sure voters have conservative choices in 2012.
