STOP OBAMA COLD AS HE IS NOT FOR AMERICA

Conservative American,

Tuesday night's defeat of President Barack Obama's $447 billion jobs bill is a momentary victory for those seeking genuine strategies to get America back to work!

The U.S. Senate voted 50-49 on a procedural motion to begin debate on the bill. However, it fell way short of the required 60 votes.

In order to take time to "shore up" Democratic support, bits of pieces of the failed legislation will be voted on the week of October 24th, in about 10 days. This is why it is absolutely imperative that you fax every Congressman to let them know what you think of President Obama's faulty "initiative."

Every Republican Senator voted against the motion. They were joined by two Democrats, U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) and U.S. Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE). Other Democrats voice genuine concern about the contents of the bill, i.e. Democratic Senators Jim Webb of Virginia and Joe Manchin of West Virginia. Republican Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma did not vote as he was recovering from surgery.

U.S. Senator Tester responded: "The things I support in this bill are outweighed by the things I can't support. It is an expensive, temporary fix to a problem that needs a big, long-term solution."

President Obama's American Jobs Act of 2011 is a re-hash of a former failed stimulus package. It included $270 billion in payroll tax cuts, as well as $175 billion in spending on infrastructure, roads, etc., and an extension of unemployment benefits. To some, this same old rhetoric sounds good in "TV sound bites," but when one analyzes the inner workings, it is more of the same failed original stimulus package!

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (KY) told it like it is: "There's really only one thing you need to know about the first stimulus to oppose this second one, and it's this: $825 billion later, there are 1.5 million fewer jobs in this country than there were when the first stimulus was signed. That's the clearest proof it was a monstrous failure. And it's the surest proof we have that those who support this second stimulus are not doing so to create jobs. Everyone who votes for this second stimulus will have to answer a simple but important question: why on earth would you support an approach that we already know won't work?"

The bottom linethe American Jobs Act will not create jobs; it will destroy them. Will you please fax every Congressman urge them to vote against this audacious bill?

Please CLICK HERE to FAX every Member of our U.S. Congress to urge them to NOT pass President Obama's "American Jobs Act" in its latest form. America does not need to pay for another failed stimulus! People's ordinary income should receive tax hikes. Spending borrowed money to initiate interim government jobs is not the answer to America's job crisis!

America's private sector generates all private jobs and all tax revenue that finances all public sector jobs. This means that the key to job creation is THE PRIVATE SECTOR!

If the private sector thrives, so does the nation. But President Obama does not get that yet. He continues to be a stumbling block to business, whether it be taxing the wealthy even more, creating green barriers to commerce, stagnate the oil drilling off the coast of the United States, supporting those who are against Wall Street and raising economic uncertainties! He is NOT a friend of business.

Yet, it is small businesses that is the literal backbone of the economy because it is they who HIRE PEOPLE! They are the job creators!

If the government legislation---the American Jobs Act---stymies the growth of the private sector---the result will beLESS JOBS! How

President Obama has changed our exceptional country into one of disarray.
President Obama has changed our optimistic society into a pessimistic society.

Don't forget that SIX million jobs were created within three years of when the Bush tax cuts clicked into gear! Those six million jobs were lost from when the Democrats took control of Congress in November, 2006 untilNovember, 2010! During that same timeframe, unemployment was at 4.5% -- and rose to 9.8%!

It seems ludicrous that so many bad situations have happened to our economy. President Obama---and the American people---can no longer blame President George W. Bush. President Obama must take ownership of this mess. What really caused our economic difficulties? Here's part of the answers:

  1. An $825 billion stimulus spending that did NOT work
  2. Uncertainty of the upcoming Obamacare costs to employers
  3. Over 60 tax code changes that go into effect in the next 3 years
  4. Environmental over-regulation that will cause some manufacturing plants to close; thus, eliminating jobs
  5. A proposed 10% income tax increase on job creators in 2013
  6. Trillion dollar deficits which causes economic uncertainty
  7. A National Labor Relations Board that sues to block jobs created in right-to-work states
Here is a very simple fact: Investors will not invest when there is a pandemic of economic uncertainty. Banks and loan institutions will be less likely to loan money during times of economic uncertainty.

All this points to the idea that the President of the United States must be more friendly with business; business owners (JOB CREATORS) specifically. Due to the regulations, risks and lack of business loans, employers are being driven out of business.

Yet, President Obama's American Jobs Act bill does NOT really address stimulating the small business owner! Please fax every Congressman so they can stand up for an exceptional America!

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell exclaimed: "The truth of the matter is, most Democrats know just as well as I do that passing another stimulus and tax hike is a lousy idea – which is why the president is having such a hard time convincing many Democrats to vote for it."

Even many Democrats dislike the original American Jobs Bill promoted nationwide (at taxpayer expense!) by President Obama. Your taxes paid for President Obama's first campaign swing across the nation---under the "disguise" of promoting jobs for more Americans! No way? Yes, way!

U.S. Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) says that the federal government should give wealthy people incentive to invest in the economy instead of increasing their income taxes. He stated: "I strongly believe that the way to bring good jobs back is to improve our economy in the private sector, and that means more capital investment. Winston Churchill once said something to the effect that you can't tax your way out of an economic downturn any more than you can pick up a bucket if you're standing on it!"

Outspoken U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT), who normally votes with the Democrats, spoke against the bill: "To me, what we've got to do is restore confidence of people in the business sector to invest. That's what's missing in our economy. (The Obama's Jobs Bill)...I don't think it does the job!"

"The bottom line here is that I don't believe the potential in this act for creating jobs justifies adding another $500 billion to our almost $15 trillion national debt. In fact, I think the most important thing we can do to improve our economy, reduce unemployment (and) create jobs is to bring our national debt under control."

McConnell sees this as strictly a political ploy on behalf of the Democrats: "The Democrats have designed their own bill to fail, in hopes that anyone who votes against it will look bad for opposing a bill they misleadingly refer to as a 'jobs bill.' (Now) they have an issue to run on next year."

"This whole exercise, by their (Democrats) own admission, is a charade that's meant to give Democrats a political edge in an election that's 13 months away. The American people want Democrats to focus on job creation, not political preservation!"

President Obama: "Tonight's vote is by no means the end of this fight!"

President Obama attacked Republicans immediately after the defeat. He was very animated when he decried: "Tonight's vote is by no means the end of this fight! (The American people) will not take 'no' for an answer!"

Please let every U.S. Congressman know that you will not accept "presidential Band-Aids" for such a serious problem that directly affects you! Your fax today is vitally important in making sure that they come up with a workable and affordable way to bring jobs back to America!

Senate Democratic leaders are right now feverishly trying to cut down the 155-page American Jobs Bill to something that will be workable and passable in both legislatures. Obviously, they will be chopped down into smaller components, so that President Obama will not have as much "egg on his face" like he did last night!

President Obama promised: "We will now work with Senator Reid to make sure that the individual proposals in this jobs bill get a vote as soon as possible."

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said in a unifying statement: "Now it's time for both parties to work together and find common ground on removing government barriers to private-sector job growth."

However, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was more candid: "With millions of people out of work, I hope that the President will put the brakes on his campaign-style speeches and work with Congress on areas where there is bipartisan support to spur economic growth and get people back to work."

Tell Congress to create sustainable private sector permanent jobs by giving the "power" back to the private sector; instead of the government sector with mis-guided stimulus packages that do not work!

If you thought the arm-twisting in Obamacare was bad, wait until you see what will happen next. FAX NOW!
