ARIZONA - REDISTRICTING MEETING 11/03/2011 SCOTTSDALE

Next meeting on Redistricting IMPORTANT
Date: Mon, 24 Oct 2011 09:49:20 -0600

This will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 6:00 p.m.
    Granite Reef Senior Center
    1700 North Granite Road
Scottsdale, AZ                   just north of McDowell Road.

Why this is important...

I attended a meeting last week and the new proposed AZ map was discussed.  Without going into
more detail than is necessary - it is a nightmare.  Districts that have no relation to each other are
lumped together.  Scottsdale goes with West PhoenixFountain Hills goes with Yuma.  Other
districts have been carved up - all to serve a leftist, progressive agenda and yes, to strengthen
the voice of the illegals and their proponents.  We can easily and quickly be turned into a blue
state and lose our voice in the national elections as well.

If approved this will affect voting patterns for years to come and there is nothing you can do aboutthat.  Your vote will  have lost its impact.  It will affect the all important 2012 election which for
reasons I don't need to go into is the most crucial election in our lifetime.  The time to make a
difference is now, not later.

The tea parties and conservative groups in the state are fighting this, but EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET
INVOLVED.  I sent out numerous emails with information on this over the past few months.

There is NO excuse for sitting back and doing nothing and at this point, I don't
care who gets mad at me for saying this.    This is your state and your country.
Liberals/progressives have been hacking away at our freedoms, our God, our churches and our
schools for decades.  They have been patient and diligent while  many on our side have been
passive and done nothing.  This is how you get an Obama in the white house.

Here is what you can do:  Here is what you must do.

Attend the meeting above;  Many of you I know live a stone's throw away from the location.

Get others to attend.  Start making phone calls and sending out letters.

If you absolutely cannot attend the meeting or any other meeting, contact Gov. Brewer and
demand that she stop this process; get the current map thrown out and start all over.  Better
yet, tell her to jettison the whole thing and put this process to the legislature to decide.

Here again, is all the contact information - keep it somewhere where you can retrieve it
readily and get into the habit of getting involved, especially between now and Nov. 2012.

http://www.azleg.gov/alisStaticPages/HowToContactMember.asp  Click on "Senate" and then
"House" to get all the names of people who represent you in the AZ legislature.   But you
have to know what district you are in.  There is a provision for finding that on the web site
as well.

are and all the of the reps in Congress and the district numbers.
