SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN, SUPPORT SENATE BILL 1308

The U.S. Senate bill 1308, "Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers Act of 2011," is in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The parallel House bill (H.R. 1981) has been approved by the House Judiciary committee. This bill
will help investigators track down dangerous pedophiles and protect children from sexual exploitation.

Citizens for Community Values Action (CCV Action) fully supports this bill. In the years that we have combatted pornography, child pornographers have expanded their network of criminal activity. S. 1308 is needed to protect our children and to hold accountable those who are involved in these hideous crimes.

Please contact your Senators and ask that they co-sponsor S. 1308. To see a thorough summary of the bill, click

For out-of-state readers, here is a suggested e-mail text, though we encourage you to send an original letter:

I am writing to request that you co-sponsor S. 1308. As you may know, this bill will help investigators track down dangerous pedophiles and protect children from sexual exploitation.
With growing awareness of human trafficking throughout the country, it would be fitting for you to take the lead in this bi-partisan effort to improve accountability for those who are involved in the hideous crime of child pornography.
Thank you for your kind consideration.
