According to the U.S. General Accounting Office, close to 51% of FDA-approved drugs
have serious adverse effects not detected prior to approval. Each year prescription drugs injure 1.5 million people so severely they require hospitalization. In 2007, 149 Americans died from tainted heparin (a blood thinner) imported from China. China is now the largest supplier of pharmaceutical chemicals, actually hundreds of tons annually to the world, most especially for generic drugs......
