OBAMA: "HAVE YOU HEARD THE WORDS 'GOOD FAITH' IN NEGOTIATIONS?

Debt Ceiling Negotiations; Obama's Purposeful Impasse
by Lee S Gliddon Jr

There were, what was hoped as serious, Debt Ceiling negotiations being discussed between Obama and the GOP Representative, John Boehner.

First Obama walked out, just as Biden had, as he sought to blame Boehner for the failure of negotiations. Then Boehner walked out of the ensuing session as Obama was 'playing games' and not negotiating in good faith.

To me this is reflective of Obama's desire to see the absolute downfall of both the Republican Party as well as the economy of the U.S.A.. The downfall of the Republican Party would be accomplished by Obama blaming any and all economic failures as well as unemployment upon the GOP. The economic failure of the U.S.A. would be accomplished by the failures of bailouts, the Stimulus Plan, and the exorbitant expenditures imposed on the U.S.A. by implementation of Obamacare.

Obama's lackey, Timothy Geithner, went on TV and did his best to downplay the severe losses caused by the Stimulus Plan as well as the Obama policies that guarantee failre. Try as he might Geithner could only 'spin' each of the replies he voiced to the questions posed by Mike Wallace.

" We inherited this mess from the previous administration," was Geithner's fall-back defense as he continued his 'spin.'

Look at facts.

The Congress, both House and Senate, were in control while Bush was in office. Why not lay the blame where it belongs? At this time Obama is saying, "It's Congress' duty to come up with a plan, not mine." Maybe Obama has to be told, 'that was what Bush was thinking as a Democrat led Congress started its spending spree.'

When anyone goes to purchase a car they rely on the seller to deal with them fairly. Especially if the vehicle is to be financed the seller and buyer must be of one accord if the sales is to be financed by another. Before each party, buyer and seller, agree to the final sales price they negotiate.

Consider this:

If the seller were to show a vehicle with air conditioning, power steering, power windows, power seats and all the goodies that the buyer wanted and both agreed upon a final price, what would the reaction be if the seller then said,"now, what kind of tires would you like to buy for your new car?"

You'd be furious...admit that!

Well, when Boehner came to an agreement with Obama wherein the understanding of both he and Obama was $800 billion in revenues was the agreement only to have Obama say, "I want to get this firm. We are going to increase revenues by $12 billion...right?"  Then Obama feigns dismay and blame Boehner for walking out!

Folks, we have a man in the White House that is doing everything he can to lay blame on the GOP for his intended destruction of the GOP and the American economy system! The bad faith displayed by Obama can be boiled down to a single word, DISGUSTING!
