JUST HOW MANY WILL NAPOLITANO ORDER SET FREE?

ICE OPERATION NETS 2400 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

A seven-day enforcement operation called “Cross Check” nabbed 2,400 illegal immigrants in a nationwide raid last month.  The illegal immigrants arrested belonged to three basic categories: fugitives with outstanding deportation orders, those who already had been deported and illegally re-entered the U.S., and at-large convicted criminals.  Among those arrested were a Libyan living inDenver convicted of first-degree sexual assault against a child and a Filipino living in Orlandoconvicted of battery on a law enforcement officer. Those arrested either will be deported on a one-way flight to their home country or face prosecution.  Despite this operation’s success, some officials are worried that Obama’s latest immigration rules will let too many illegal immigrants off the hook for minor crimes leading to major crimes.
