The simple formula for additional OBAMACARE DISASTER is:
Regulate More + Less Pay = LESS Doctors!
Today, there are approximately 960,000 doctors in the United States! However, it is estimated that ten percent (1 out of 10) will leave their positions in the next few years, mainly because of the increased regulation and less net pay due to the various regulations in OBAMACARE!
This physicians' shortage comes just exactly at the time when full-scale Obamacare will kick in. Obamacare is designed to provide insurance to an additional 32,000,000 Americans who now lack it. The United States already was struggling with a critical physician shortage and the problem will only be exacerbated as an additional 36 Million people enter Medicare. Yet, the number of doctors continues to dwindle. And medical college graduates are simply not keeping up with the pace!
Sure, there are many doctors who are well off. I understand that. But, now with increased regulations and being forced to see patients who cannot pay as much, many are re-thinking their profession. Thousands of doctors are being chased out of the profession because being a doctor just isn't worth the trouble anymore.
And it isn't just the doctors who are charging more. Somehow many "middlemen" have come between the doctor, hospital and patient. Once the healthcare industry was about making sure the patients got well. NOW, it is all about greed; and the "system" is to blame! And we can point the blame directly at Obamacare!

OBAMACARE literally stifles doctors. This new law is trying to tell physicians how to treat patients, lawyers are constantly looking to sue them and much of the money ends up going to health insurance companies, big pharmaceuticals and huge health care companies.
There aren't enough primary care doctors in America now; and their numbers continue to decline. That means the federal government will not be able to deliver the expanded health care Mr. Obama is promising to millions of uninsured people. OBAMACARE will make it even harder to get a doctor's appointment without a lengthy wait.
Dr. Jane Orient, Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, explains: "The politicians don't talk about who is going to do this extra work. Promised coverage is not the same thing as care. All you're getting is a place in the waiting lines."
As the economy is still in a recovery mode, a much greater number of Americans are being forced to rely on programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. This tremendous increase in numbers, especially with the new 32 million via OBAMACARE, puts a horrendous strain on physicians.
For example, in 1965 only ONE out of every 50 Americans was on Medicaid. NOW, ONE out of every 6 Americans is on Medicaid, thanks to the Baby Boomers and other factors.
Other factors that figure into the doctor shortage, which was not even addressed to any degree in the OBAMACARE legislation, is medical malpractice. Malpractice insurance premiums are "through the roof" now and one really bad lawsuit, sometime frivolous, can ruin a career that took decades to build.
According to a Merritt Hawkins survey of 2,379 doctors for the Physicians Foundation that was conducted last year, 40 percent of all U.S. doctors plan to "retire, seek a nonclinical job in health care, or seek a job or business unrelated to health care" at some point over the next three years!
We must repeal and defund Obamacare right now - to save this industry. More importantly, to save the quality of your personal health care!

In that same study by the Physicians Foundation, a survey of 270,000 primary care physicians last November found that 76 percent described themselves as "overextended or overworked." As a result, 30 percent plan to see fewer patients or scale back to part-time, 13 percent will look for a job that does not involve patient care, and 11 percent plan to retire. To think, this is all BEFORE Mr. Obama's plan is fully engaged!
Also attributing to the doctor shortage is an OBAMACARE artificial cap on reimbursements, a legal form of price-fixing. With education becoming more and more expensive, physicians need to recoup their investment in it from plying their trade. Unfortunately, government reimbursement schedules will force payments DOWN through the entire industry, making specializations in areas that have Medicare and Medicaid implications much less attractive. Those who can choose specialties will be more likely to go into cosmetic surgery, Lasik, and other areas where third-party payer structures are not an issue.
Medicaid and Medicare is a tremendous financial burden to doctors. According to the New York Post: "Estimates suggest that on average physicians are reimbursed at roughly 78% of costs under Medicare, and just 70% of costs under Medicaid. Physicians must either make up for this shortfall by shifting costs to those patients with insurance - meaning those of us with insurance pay more - or treat patients at a loss."

According to a survey published in the New England Journal of Medicine, approximately one-third of all practicing physicians in the United States indicated that they may leave the medical profession because of Obamacare.
Our "broken" system is helping to run doctors out of business. This includes the cancellation of many new hospitals. According to the Executive Director of Physician Hospitals of America, the new health care law has already forced the cancellation of at least 60 doctor-owned hospitals that were scheduled to open soon.
I am all for fixing the broken health care system.
Some genuine health care reform would have been welcomed. But what Americans got was OBAMACARE, one of the worst pieces of legislation ever introduced and passed in the history of the United States Congress!
Obamacare is poised to obliterate medicine and medical care as we know it here in the United States of America! Do you want the world's greatest healthcare system REPLACED with Obamacare? We must change it, repeal it, defund it---quickly, before many of the features go into place. That's why we need you to act today!
The talk of SHORTAGE of doctors fell on deaf ears among liberal legislators last year! Now, we are beginning to feel the fallout. Poorer quality of healthcare is now ours! Please help us to REPEAL and DEFUND Obamacare!
I know you feel the exact same way that I feel. Even when OBAMACARE was first introduced many months ago, I had that same feeling deep in the pit of my stomach: SOCIALIZED MEDICINE WAS NOW COMING TO AMERICA!
Then we will never forget all the back-room deals; the Chicago-style political roughshod maneuvering that gave Mr. Obama his victory---but, my friend, NOT FOR LONG!
Repealing and Defunding Obamacare is necessary!
And don't forget that OBAMACARE has been declared illegal by U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson: "because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act (Obamacare) must be declared void." This means that IMPLEMENTATION MUST CEASE IMMEDIATELY. Yet the Obama administration continues to implement. In fact, Mr. Obama's Justice Department filed its notice of appeal and the case will go to the Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, based in Atlanta. This battle will eventually reach the United States Supreme Court. In the meantime---ILLEGALLY---Mr. Obama and his "lieutenants" will continue to fund and implement OBAMACARE. Stop them now!
