TODAY - SAY A PRAYER FOR AMERICA - 'LONG SHALL SHE STAND'

National Day of Prayer

The key to prayer is simply praying."
--A.W. Tozer.
In 1952 Congress proclaimed that the first Thursday of every May be observed as the
National Day of Prayer. It is amazing just how much our culture and our nation have changed since then. Nearly 60 years ago, no one could have imagined that a document such as the Manhattan Declaration would have been necessary. The sanctity of human life, religious freedom, and traditional marriage were givens.
Today, we encourage you to pray for our nation, a nation that has in large part, turned its back on God. Pray for our nation's leaders "that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness" (1 Timothy 2:2). And of course, pray that the Church will boldly proclaim the truth of the Gospel and defend human life, traditional marriage, and religious freedom.

Thank you for signing and supporting the Manhattan Declaration.  Please visit the National Day of Prayer homepage for more information.
