LACK OF LEADERSHIP in BORDER SECURITY - NO OPEN BORDERS WANTED

Vicente Fox: Obama’s Approach a Failure

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox says Mexico is in a vicious civil war with drug cartels, and sharply criticized the Obama administration for its failure to grapple with the deteriorating situation in Mexico.

Fox also adds that President Obama is “thoroughly mixed up” in Afghanistan and Libya and is “not showing the leadership and capacity to attend different issues at the same time.”

Fox claimed that Mexico’s drug war has already killed 35,000 to 40,000 members of cartels, the police force or the army – not including Mexican citizens caught in the crossfire of out of control cartels.

The former President of Mexico places some of the blame for the Mexican drug war on the high demand for illegal narcotics and other drugs in the U.S. which has build a very profitable market for the criminal and violent Mexican cartels.

On the issue of illegal immigration, former President Fox stressed that he is “absolutely not” calling for an open border, but rather for the “wisdom of leadership” of this nation.  He further states that if AZ sees the federal government isn’t assuming its responsibilities, it creates local laws, but that ultimately immigration and border security is a federal issue that Obama has been neglecting despite his campaign promise for immigration reform.
